The Poor rakyat and the Rich umnos

WE STILL SEE THIS AFTER 52 YEARS OF UMNO RULE.
HAS TAIB OR TOYO SEEN THIS?
WHERE HAS ALL THE MONEY GONE?

TOYO'S MANSION

TAIB'S PARADISE

Businessman beaten up by police.

Chia Buang Hing talking to the Press.
There is no way the police is going to talk their way out of this. Even if a matchet is found in the car, or drugs are hidden, there was no reason at all to brutalise the man unless he put up a fight. Even then he was only one person, whereas there were several cops who whacked him. He could have easily been overpowered and immobilised. The scar and bruises on his face are clear indications that he had been severely brutalised. The Selangor police chief, Tun Hisan Hamzah said that the 2 constables involved had been suspended from duties. But there were more than the 2 constables invloved. Furthermore the remand order for the 2 accused constables were rejected by the magistrate and are walking free while investigations are on-going. So this is a new law. No need to remand a suspect, or is this only applicable to the police personels? Sheeeesh! where is our country heading to?

I Malaysia is definitely an umno political tool.

NONE
The Ediotor of Utusan Melayu, Hassan Mohd Noor, claimed that "On the 1 Malaysia logo, you can’t see the symbol of Umno, MCA, MIC, Gerakan and PPP. Hey bludder, take a look at the banner and look at the bottom left hand corner. What do you see? Sheeesh, call yourself an editor ?
If the one Malaysia is not a political tool of the umno/bm, then why is the barisan logo there?  and why is that only the face of the PM and other bn ministers appear in all 1 Malaysia posters and banners?
Khairy J has criticised (in the Star) the Selangor state government for being hypocritical and that it does not walk the talk.  It fact it is the umnos that "cakap tak serupa bikin" . I want to ask him whether he, in all sincerity and honesty can claim  that the umnos are walking the talk? Then kindly explain the racial rhetorics expounded by Ibrahim Ali and Utusan Melayu about Ketuanan Melayu. If there is ketuanan then there must be 'hamba'. Then where is the 1 Malaysia? If you cannot see this then you have no right to be a graduate of Oxford university. The umnos may be forgiven for defending blindly the slogan, but for the educated rakyat, come on, have you forgotten about "kaki botol", "mata sepet", "pendatang" and Hindus are like “dogs” because of their prayer strings? How easy they have forgotten all these, especially the Indians from the Makkal Sakti party .  Have they forgotten what they were fighting for?  and today they submitted a memorandum against the Selangor Government for banning the use of the slogan.
Betul, betul, bukan Melayu saja, tapi orang India pun, senang lupa.

Welcome Surendran - You indeed possess leadership quality.

Lawyer Surendran is now one of the Vice Presidents of PKR.
He started his activism in 1998 during the “reformasi” period and had represented many of those arrested for gathering peacefully. He is also actively involved in several NGOs, including Malaysia Animal Rights Society, Malaysian Against Death Penalty and Torture and Malaysians Against Discrimination of the Disabled and Lawyers for Liberty. Having read of all his involvements in the above issues, I am glad that PKR has included him in the line-up.

Read what he has to say about his aims and responsibilities :
"My aims are very simple. I want to see a country that is ruled fairly. I want to see an end to oppression and oppressive laws, and an end to all cruelty perpetuated by the government, the police, or whomever. I want to see a country that is free."
"Before I die I want to know that I have helped my fellow men. I take pleasure and satisfaction when I have helped someone who is a victim of injustice."

"I hope to make a real change and contribute towards the goal of reforming the institutions in the country... towards better governance. With political freedom, we will have economic freedom."

"I want a free press, an end to all cruelties, and a functioning democracy that is based on solid political discourse that is seen in Western countries."

"l hope this country can move away from parochial views of race and religion."

"...my task would be to fight to remove oppressive laws and create a more balanced playing field for all Malaysians.”

Aren't these the qualities we want and expect of a leader? And I believe Surendran will not let us down.

Ku Li stripped off 2 titles by Kelantan Sultan

The new Sultan of Kelantan has stripped off 2 titles from Tungku Razaleigh Hamzah without giving any reason. Ku Li has recently helped umno to win back the seat in the Galas by-election and it would be interesting to see the reaction of umnos.
Now the fun begins. It all started from the Perak debacle. Mahathir stripped the sultans unlimted power. Najib restored this power in the Perak crisis. and now they are in a fixed. Now lets see where the Ketuanan Sultan is going to lead us? Are the umno Malays going to protect the Sultan as in Ketuanan Sultan or the umno Melayu as in Ketuanan Melayu"? Didn't I say this before? 'What goes round comes round". I am dying to hear what Nazri and Ibrahim Ali have to say about this. What is it going to be now? Dont forget it is seditious to go against the royalty.

Reason Why non-Malays are not patriotic!!!

Would the Defence Minister explain why the acting Selangor police chief, Datuk Thaiveegan was bypassed from being a Police chief. In any normal circumstance, the acting would be promoted to replace the head who may have retired or transferred. Instead someone below him in rank, a Datuk Tun Hisan Tun Hamzah, was first conveniently  made to take over the acting post and then promoted as the new chief. What kind of manipulation is this? This is not only a humiliation to Datuk Thaiveegan but also an outright practice of discrimination.
Now can you see why non-Malays are not interested in joining the police, the army or any institution that is practising this blatant discrimination. Datuk Thaiveegan is almost there. He is just one step away to be the chief, but no, the umno Malays would never allow this. So dont give me this bullshit about patriotism.

Those Chinese who support MCA are Traitors & Shameless

What does it take for people in the MCA to feel utterly ashamed for selling their souls and at the same time, the rights of the Chinese just to hold on to power and kow-tow to the umnos? Are they still in deep slumber not to realise what is happening in our country? The police , the macc and the judiciary are all umno owned. Take a look at all the recent court cases. Can they honestly say and swear on their mothers' grave (or whoever's graves that are sacred to them) that they agree with all the wheeling and dealings of the lawyers from the AG's office?
Closing both eyes to all the injustice, selective persecution and prosecution is bad enough, but now this MCA guy, Ti Lian Ker is trying to rouse up Chinese sentiments against the Selangor  government for giving scholarship to only 12 Chinese applicants. And as usual, the mca-owned media, the Star was superfast to capitalise on this and accused the DAP-led government of not looking into the interest of the Chinese.
However, Theresa Kok of the DAP had showed facts and figures to counter Ti's accusation and this was only fully reported in Malaysia Chronicle (read here). As a responsible paper, the Star should have printed this revelation and shamed Ti for the baseless accusations. But this will never happen. So please fellow Chinese, let's send the mca to Jurassic Park.

Bro. Haris hangs up his robes.

I read in Haris latest blog ( Returning the Judiciary to the Rakyat at http://harismibrahim.wordpress.com/) that he has decided to hang up his robes, cease his legal practice and to devote his time working with the rakyat in the coming months to establish a new government with a reform-minded prime minister after the 13th General Election.

I truly empathise with the agony and frustration that he is going through resulting in his decision to hang up his robes and to cease legal practice in this hoplessley decadent judiciary system. Reading in between the lines, I can feel your sadness of how your lofty ideals of a noble profession being crushed and demolished by our incompetent and illiterate judges. Indeed there is no justice at all, especially for the ordinary rakyat. I salute you for your stand. When a new fair and just government takes over, we pray that you will come back and help put all these spineless judges where they truly belong - in jail.

Beware of the lull of silence

Sign of an early election is on the wall. The obvious sign is the silence of retaliation and bashing of the Chinese and Indians. Since the outburst on low-patriotism level of the non-Malays by the Defence minister, there have been scores of articles refuting the allegations and even taking him to task. Under normal circumstances, umnos, perkasa  and even the chelup indians would come out in defence of the minister and warning the nons not to be arrogant and reminding that the nons are either kaki botol or mata sepet and mere penumpang. Where are these voices now? Obviously they have been told to zip up as their votes are needed. On the other hand there had been praises heaped on the Chinese for their contribution to the economy of the country (read here). This is an obvious indication that the 13 GE is round the corner. The umnos are relying on the theory that we Malaysians are "senang lupa", i.e. after sometime we will forget the injustice, the corruption and the selective persecution pepetuated by the umnos. Fat hope. The hurt is still there and we know that once you get back into power, you will 'teruskan' all your nonsence.

Another Opposition Motion shot down!

Another motion was again shot down by the Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia.YB YB Lim Kit Siang had questioned the government’s commitment in condeming Utusan Malaysia’s editorial on the May 13 tragedy, which he described as seditious in nature. He had asked Deputy Home Minister Datuk Wira Abu Seman his views on Utusan Malaysia's opinion piece, which had called the bloody racial clash in 1969 a “sacred day” and a “blessing in disguise”. However, the Speaker responded that his queries had nothing to do with the Home ministry and further added that it was a hypothetical question.
Statements which can cause unrest and destabilise the security of the country is not the concern of the Home Minstry? Come on Mr Speaker, you have really gone too far with your blind loyalty to umno. You dare said that it was a hypothetical question. And should this hypothetical question becomes a reality, we the Malaysian rakyat shall hold you responsible, for though you now have the power to discuss and debate this issue in Parliament to prevent further deterrioration of the situation, you did not. Mr. Speaker, please remember that everytime Utusan Malaysia gets away with any seditious overtures, the braver they would become. The powder keg is waiting to explode, and that is what Utusan Malaysia is creating.

A Dream comes True for SCCSJ

After wondering from one place to another since its inception in 1997, the Senior Citizens Club of Subang Jaya has finally got its own permanent Day Centre cum Club house. The new Club house is situated at 40, Jalan USJ 6/6K Subang Jaya. This has been made possible through the effort of Nascom, under the able leadership of its never-say-die 93-year old Datuk Lum Kin Tuck. Nascom paid RM480K for the corner lot double-story building. Rennovation cost another RM61,815.00 and Nascom again contibuted RM31,815.00 and the balance was paid from the funds of the Club.
From a humble beginning, the SCCSJ has indeed come far and credit must be given to the present team under the leadership Yong Teik Boon.
With a permanent location, the Club is now able to go full steam ahead with all its programme which include language classes, computer class, dancing lessons, art and craft skills and many others.
To be a member costs only a mere RM12 per year. However its better to pay RM100 to become a life member. For further information, contact the Club at 03-56382151.

Manipulation of the law and injustice mean nothing to the voters at Galas & Batu Sapi

The two buy-elections are over and the the BN has won both, and Mahathir's famous words "Melayu senang lupa" ring out loud and clear. However it should not only apply to the Malays but should be applied to all those who voted for the BN in the recently concluded Galas and Batu Sapi by-election. They have forgotten all injustices pepetuated by the umnos through the police, the macc and the judiciary. The Indians have forgotten how their kind have been marginalised and brutalised while in lock-up. They have even forgotten the most recent case of Selvchandran who was whacked in front of his family and then kidnapped. The Chinese have forgotten the long-drawn case of Teoh Beng Hock and how the police, the macc and even the judge tried to manipulate the evidences. The Malays have forgotten the shooting of Aminulrasyid and throughout the investigation, they have tried to shift the blame to somebody else. They have forgotten the Anwar Sodomy II trial where the judge had refused to provide the relevant documents important to the defence .  How can any right-thinking person ignore such injustices and let the sight of money abliterate all senses of  values. Even if there is no money invovlved we should put a stop to the high-handed decisions of the umno institutions which are totally devoid of fairness and justice. But then again, what do the orang asli and the people in the jungle know about Selvachandran, Teoh Beng Hock or even Anwar?  What can the outcome of the trial or investigation do to meet their needs? Nothing. So why bother. Give them cash and you have their votes. That's about sum up the reason why BN won.

Is the EC closing both eyes to Bribery?

I dont get it. Bribery happened in the open and the Election Commission had closed both eyes to this. The Banks in Sandakan had reported large sums of withdrawals so much so some banks had been unable to facilitate such large withdrawals due to technicalities. Recepients of cash, for example,  a taxi driver, said that "they (taxi drivers) are being given RM250 each and ordinary voters are getting RM150 each. Several people said that they were promised RM100 to RM150 more as they cast their ballots. Then huge crowd had gathered at the MCA operation centre here after talk spread that the party was giving “handouts”. When approached the recepients showed brown envelops containg RM250.00. Muhyiddin Yassin was accused of corruption after distributing RM300 each to a group of elderly residents during a visit to Kampung Batu Papan, as reported by Harakahdaily With all these as evidences, shouldn't the EC. at least look into it and start an investigation? Then  UMNO was also quick to claim that the zakat payment given by Tok Guru, to three Orang Asli who embraced Islam was a form of corruption. So if it is, then EC should take action. But to act against Tok Guru means the EC must act against the umnos as well. So best is not to take any action. Thus everyone escaped and cash hand-outs will become more rampant in future buy-elections.

"the case is closed" So says who? the AG or the law?

The Attorney-General’s Chambers has declared that "There will be no further investigations on private investigator P Balasubramaniam’s conflicting statutory declarations (SDs) as the case is now closed." The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department also said that "the decision to close the case was made after “careful consideration” of the results of the police probe and witness statements."
So easy as that ka? and what careful consideration is he talking about? Under Section 199 of the Penal Code for providing “false statements.” those who provide false imformation are liable to a maximum jail term of three years and a fine.
Someone has broken the law, (Bala for one for providing contradictory SD, so one must be false), and prominant people had been implicated and the AG can conveniently say the case is closed. Who the hell does he think he is? Is there no rule anymore? So you can simply switch off and say no case if the the case does not run in favour of the umnos, your boss or your cronies. What the hell is this country coming to? Come the 13 GE, use your vote to vote the these criminals out, and when Pakatan takes over Putrajaya, the AG and all his cronies can be hauled up for crimes against humanity and just laws.

Najib did it, its OK. PAS did it, its a bribe.

PAS  is offering up to RM 250 for a ANYONE of the 1,557 voters in Galas reportedly working outstation to come back and vote, regardless of their political leanings. No condition.
In response to this the EC deputy Chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar told reporters that the offer could be interpreted as an offence under Section 10 of Election Offences Act 1954. He further added that the macc and the police could investigate and recommend action if a report was lodged over the matter.
Now compare the above to the following:
"you help me, I help” and "Let’s make a deal. If you deliver me Robert Lau Jr on Sunday, I will sign the cheque on Monday." CONDITION. We all know who uttered those words. And according to Election Commission it was not an issue and passed the buck to Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission to investigate. And we all know the result.

Hey Mr. Wan Omar, which one sounds more of a bribe?  But then again, you and the EC is without doubt, under the control of the umnos, and everything must be decided in their favour even if it means ignoring the facts and truth resulting in the loss of your own dignity and intergrity.

Is this what the police has sworn to do?

According to a Malaysia Chronicles report, the Malaysian police has beaten and tortured Selvachandran, a key witness to police brutality. Read here.
Human rights NGO SUARAM confirmed that "He was beaten, kicked and punched on his chest by the police. He is now having some hearing problem after he was badly assaulted on the first and second day of his detention.”

Is this really happening in our country? No one seeems to be doing anything about it. The Home Minister refused to infere with police work and the IGP is silent too. As a result the police are getting braver and more arrogant. Who dares to go to the police now? Who dares to make a report against anyone that has police connection? Where is the MIC? Aren't they supposed to look after their own kind? We should not keep quiet and let this incident slip into oblivion. We should demand for an explanation. Have the police become animals as they are flouting the laws at the whims and fancies.  Come on, you lawyers and NGOs, dont just talk and threaten. If there is a law against such act, use it. Are we to be subjected to such atrocities without any recourse?

So Mr. PM, which is which? Crushed souls & Dead Bodies or Moderation?

How does a call for "movement of moderates" rhyme with a warning of "crushed souls and dead bodies"? The Dr. Jekyll side of Najib called for moderation in the UN General Aseemby. Then he came back to his own country and became Mr. Hyde and warned of "crushed souls and dead bodies". Now he is in  Hanoi and has turned into Dr. Jekyll again, calling for support for an initiative to create a "Global Movement of the Moderates" in order to create world peace. (Yeah, world peace, what about peace in your own backyard?) Frankly, I dont think he is a sane person as a sane person would not double talk this way. As YB Lim Kik Siang asked  "What reaction does Najib expect to elicit "? and so I am asking the same question. Movement of Moderation definitely does not include crushed souls and dead bodies. So please explain yourself, Mr. PM.
As with Malaysia Chronicle which "is just too tired to write about the Malaysian Prime Minister this Saturday and will append below the Bernama report for readers to read and to judge for themselves.", so I'll just do the same. So go here to read.

Why is the Police so Cruel?

For goodness sake, what's happening to our police force? Can they just go round banging people up, even in front of the children, as in Selvachandran's case. What crime has he committed? Is testifying against the police a crime? If that is so, then we are indeed a police state and a failed state. The very people that we are looking up to for protection is going round brutalising its citizens. What have we become? And now the Home Minister, though confessing that he is aware of the case, refused to do anything, fearing that he might be accused of interring in police work. WTF, as if he had not interrred in police work before. We the public demand to know what wrong has Selvachandran done and why is he being held incognito. Where are all the good men and women of this country? Are we going to just sit and let this atrocious act go without asking the whys? Again the solution lies in each and everyone of us. Never forget all these when you cast your votes in the coming GE.

Mr. PM, Stop Playing with Fire.

At the recently concluded umno general assembly, the PM vowed " to defend their five-decade stranglehold on the federal government even if it meant crushed bodies and lost lives."

He further added "What I am saying is not surprising. In the 20th century, we have seen cases of punishment without trial in the United States, the holocaust tragedy in Europe, the slaughter of Palestinians in the Middle East and the ethnic cleansing in Bosnia and Rwanda. Imagine, what is the outcome, if every generation of Malaysians question the social contract which were agreed upon by their forefathers,”

Can someone explain to the ordinary rakyat how come the PM is allowed to use threatening words and get away with it. Then you even have umno goons trying to explain that the words used are proverbial and meant to uplift the spirit of those present. A threat is a threat, no materr how you explain it. Even a primary school pupil can see it. If you want another test? Then ask YB Lim Kit Siang or YB Karpal Singh to utter the same proverbial phrase and see what happens. The full force of the umnos, including Perkasa will be unleashed on the 2 YBs. You have already seen this done on Namewee and Malaysia Chronicles.
So in the event, which is most likely, the umno loses Putrajaya, does it mean that there really will be crushed souls and dead bodies? It is a horrible thought and one commentator has even gone a step further to warn the rakyat to start keeping weapons. You still think it is just a Malay proverb designed to only lift the spirits of the umno members? Stop playing with fire, Mr. PM. Be a PM for all Malaysians and change your ways, and maybe, just maybe, we could ignore all the extra baggages you are carrying and give you a chance.

Stop wasting time protesting, recommending and appealing.

When are we going wake up and realise that the police , the macc, the judiciary and all other institutions under umno, are not the least interested in all our protests over all the injustices that are prevalent. No amount of protests or appeals are going to move them to change their minds. Take for instance the latest appeal by the CIJ to the MCMC to drop all investigations into Malaysiakini and Malaysia Chronicles, and recommended that it conduct and investigation into the conduct of its officers. Does anyone seriously think the MCMC would take heed and do what has been recommended? Let's stop dreaming. Instead we should be thinking of ways to bring them down the legal way. Oooops! I forgot, our court is not the place to go. Just imagine, how do you fight a case when the court denied the defence team documents and reports related to the case as in the current sodomy ll trial. The case is as good as lost, unless a miracle happens. Therefore the court is not the place to go to, for now. So what is next? Where are all the legal minds? Ultimately we will have to wait for the next GE to kick these freaks without conscience out.

Another young Millionaire in the Making?

Rahimi Osman (standing) - a nobody is now a star  in a new episode of the Anwar Saga. So if you want to become a famous personality, all you got to do is say something bad about Anwar, better still, make a police report, then a have a press conference, and hey presto, you are famous, and a millionaire overnight. What is his story?
Well, 2 years ago, to be exact, 28 June 2008, he had made a SD that implicated the involvement of Najib and his wife in the sodomy ll case. Then suddenly out of the blue, he made a police report a day ago claiming that he was coerced into making that declaration, and the coercion was done by 2 PKR lawyers, Lathheefa Koya & Saiful Izham Ramli. Yes, two years later and it has a tinge of dejavu - as in the case of Teoh Boon Hock, when it was evident that macca was losing the case when suddenly a suicide note was introduced- a year later. Don't these umno goons have better script than to follow an old one? And again they get a young gullible nut to put on the show and again, it was done just before a by-election.  Sheeeesh, the story is so preditable. Its amazing how these people can sleep in peace at night.

WHAT IS OUR COUNTRY COMING TO?

What is our country coming to? You dont see justice even in a simple open and shut case. The anger wells up in you and you just want to yell out all the curses.
The practice of double standards is so obvious that even a child can see it being done. Whatever wrong the umno and its goons do, the authorities will pussy foot with their investigations and even if investigations are carried out, the outcome is inevitable - not enough evidence, action misunderstood, its a personal opinion and therefore NFA. Its amazing how they can come up with all kinds of wierd excuses NOT TO prosecute. The umno government should create a department where excuses are readily available. Even when SD, documents or reports are presented as evidence of corruption and fraud, as those exposed by RPK, the authorities are still not doing anything about them. Similarly, the evidence and reports of racial slurs by the two principals are so over-whelming and conclusive and yet they go after Namewee whose only fault was the usage of obscene words. Then you have the perkasa samsengs lighting up in a public place. Wasn't it a security threat? What if a spark had been blown and landed on something inflammable? And yet the police not only did nothing but allowed them 40 minutes to do their dangerous act. How many minutes did the police give the candle-light vigilers at the Amcorp Mall.? Hardly 10 minutes and then chased them and trapped them in the Mall, afterwhich  they went in to search and arrest and dragged them out like common criminals. Compared to the leeway they gave  the perkasa demonstrators, HOW NOT TO BE ANGRY? And you want us to respect the Police!

Mr. Policeman, Which scene looks more dangerous?

Disputes over Hungry ghost festivals noise settled amicably.

I can't really recall when it was that I last read a piece of good news about racial harmony in my beloved country. Ever since the tsunami of the 12 GE, there have been one bad news after another, And when Perkasa came into the picture , the situation worsened.
But now with this latest news on how two communities of different cultures could come together to discuss a common problem, is like a breath of fresh air and thus giving hope that there is indeed light at the end of the tunnel.
I am of course referring to the meeting of the Chinese and Muslim communities to discuss ways to resolve issues of disturbance caused by the “noisy and sexy” ge tai performances in Penang.
I am really happy and that there are still matured and intelligent people like Mohideen Abdul Kadir, (picture) whose advice and wisdom should be emulated by all those who love this country and whose only wish is to live harmoniously with each other.
In the meeting, he declared that "Dialogue is the best way to solve these kinds of issues; do not keep your dissatisfaction in your hearts, otherwise it will be manipulated by someone bad the next day.”

He further added that “We want to continue this (kind of) dialogue. We live in a multicultural society; problems will occur from time to time, but we do not want to argue or quarrel. Lets sit down and discuss to find the best solution.”
Doesn't this warm your hearts? It does mind, so thank you En. Mohideen.

Bonsification of the Malay Mind by Hishamuddin Rias

I wouldn't say that all the Malay minds have been bonsified, but only those belonging to the umnos and their followers. They are really scared to lose everything, and they are surely creating "hantus' to frighten the ordinery Malay folks into submission. Maybe we should take Hishamuddin's advice and have sympathy for them.

"Nah" is Vulgar, but Effect is Achieved.

There have been varied comments regarding Namwee's vulgarity in his U-tube posting of his video clip "Nah". One comment pointed out that while the issue of racism is a much hated topic, resorting to vulgarity is not the way.
First, it must be pointed out that it was mainly because of the government's inaction over racist remarks utterred by the various ultras that has prompted Namwee to come out with his piece. Too many racist remarks had been spewed by the likes of Ibrahim Ali, Riduan Tee Abdullah and Utusan Melayu, and they are still walking the streets. Many of us feel the anger and frustration for not being able to do anything.  But it was Namwee who was able to put our feelings into words.
Lets face it. Would the authorities have taken note if he had written it otherwise? While I agree that the language used was rather vulgar & crude, but it has achieved its effect. They have taken note and are now in a bind with regards to the 2 heads who utterred racist remarks. Anyway enough is enough. There must be a stop to this double standard, selective persecution and prosecution.
In short, you can never get through these people with nice words.

UM Ranking sank deeper.

According to the latest report released by the prestigious 2010 QS World University Rankings, University Malaya (UM) has slipped from 180 to 207. It has now dropped out from the top 200  rankings. Similarly University Teknologi Malaysia dropped to 365 from 320. However 3 Universities saw slight improvements in their rankings. Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia(UKM) went up from 291 to 263,  Universiti Sains Malaysia(USM) from 314 to 309 and University Putra Malaysia(UPM) from 345 to 319.
Now let's hear what the Higher Education Minister, Datuk Seri Mohamed, has to say about this.
First, he said that "it was normal to see fluctuation in the rankings."
Fluctuation, yes, but shouldn't he be more concerned with the level on which they are fluctuating? We  are fluctuating at the lower end.
"We do not want to be too obsessive about world rankings."
Yeah right. But when there is a report on improvements in any field, there will be rave reviews and highlights in the mass media.
"It is like comparing apples and oranges." because "conditions and environments of other universities are different from ours."
What is he talking about? I thought we are a progressive nation heading towards a developed nation  in 9 years time. We have all the necessary  conditions and environments to be the centre of learning. But what have we got? the crumbs that are left behind. The brains have left our shores for places where their talents are appreciated and rewarded. Those who are left behind are peope like our infamous macc lawyer who is an embarrassment to our education system and low class politician who can only shout "shit, shit, shit." Is it any wonder why our university rankings have plummeted?

Declare yourself fit and healthy before entering a Police Station

"I am mentally healthy, I have no injuries and I will not commit suicide." That's what Namewee told the reporters before he entered the Taman Tun Dr. Ismail police station in  connection with a probe whether he had committed sedition over a video song he posted on the U-tube. He should have added "and I wont jump out of any window".
Really, we have now come to this stage that before entering a police station or an macc building, we must declare ourselves fit and of sound mind. What has become of our police force? They are supposed to be our protectors, but here again, from what we have heard of past cases, it is better to play safe than to put our whole trust in the police.

Will the genuine Muslims step forward to help?

No matter how one explains it, the umnos will never accept the explanations. Talk until the cows come home and umnos will still maintain its stance of  ketuanan Melayu, and every single issue will be turned into a religious and racial issue. That is the only way they can remain relevant and keep the rural Malays under their power.
Otherwise how do you explain that praying for the well-being of a non-muslim in a mosque is insensitive and insult to the muslims, in this case the umno muslims? Or how do you explain the anger of the umno muslims when a non-muslim went into the mosque to present donations to the mosque? Moreover she had been invited to do so. I thought such act would be welcomed. But we all know the issue was not the act itself, but it was being done by the Opposition.
In the past I know very little of the muslim faith. But after reading RPK's articles on the muslim religion, I mean the real muslim faith, I began to realise that it is indeed a beautiful religion. And I also now know that the umno muslims are not practising the faith as expounded by their prophet.
So at the end of the day, it is just plain useless and a waste of effort to appeal or cajole the umnos to stop their acts of religious and racial rhetorics. Now with Mahathir giving support to this racial politics, the conflict is set to escalate unless the PM walks his talk and reign in those responsible, starting with Utusan Melayu.

Johore Banner poser

It is really unbelievable that the police cannot identify and catch the culprits that put up the banners with pictures the sultan, Anwar and Chua Jui Meng. It is not just one banner but several, and presumably all large ones. With such an efficient police force, catching those responsible should not be a problem. Or are they only efficient in catching candle-light vigilers?  Under normal investigative procedure. the police would need to come up with possible theories for the crime. And one of them was the theory that the umno people themselves had put up the banner to sabotage the PKR. Had the police looked into this aspect? Anyway, it is very doubtful that the police are really interested in catching the culprits. Questioning Anwar and Jui Meng is just harrassment and sendiwara. Offer a reward and the police will be flooded with infos. and suspects.

MCA tryng to be Relevant Again.

What is the MCA President, Chua Soi Lek up to? He has started to speak up on matters that matter. While at it he has ruffled a few feathers in umno, including the DPM, Muhyiddin. But is he sincere? With the 13 GE coming up, this is one sure way of winning back some support for the MCA. But it is unlikely that the rakyat is so naive as to believe that MCA has changed. This may be a ploy to win back the support of the Chinese. Behind closed door negotiations might have taken place between the umnos and MCA to work out this plan to fool the public. So Mr. Chua, nothing short of a total withdrawal from the BN will convince us that the MCA has changed. So go ahead with your sandiwara and we will just enjoy the show. Thank you.

Tony Pua received a BULLET in the mail.

I knew it. I knew it would come, and sure enough it came in the form of a bullet in the mail for YB Tony Pua. Tony Pua is a threat to their existence. The umnos cannot afford to have Tony Pua running round and throwing out accusations with facts and figures that they cannot repudiate. On top of that, they know that the police and the judiciary are on their side, and the penalty, if caught, is  just a tap on the wrist. This has been proven in many past cases, such as the cowhead incident. The candlelight vigil was another case of double standard, where the protestors in Penang were arrested, but the umno gang which came to disrupt the peaceful protest, was let off. With such selective treatment and arrests, everyone, especially those aligned to umno, are gettng braver by the day.
Getting back to Tony's case, probably it is a blessing in disguise that this has happened instead of something more serious. A warning has been issued and we shall now hold umno responsible for any untoward incident that might befall Tony and his family. Let us rally round and look after him and his family. To those who are his neighbours, be more vigilent. As for us who are not your neighbours, we will pray for your safety and protection. No matter what, do not be cowed into submission. Take a leaf off from Saudara Lim Kit Siang, Kapal Singh or Lim Guan Eng. They shall go down in Malaysian history as real patriots. But we know what will happen to the graves of the corrupted umnos, mics and mcas.

Anwar's defence being stone-walled again.

Judge Dato Mohd. Zabidin Mohd. Diah
The guilt of an accused must be "proven beyond any reasonable doubt", but our judges dont seem to understand this. From what I understand of the law, if there is any reasonable doubt, an honest and rightious judge would throw out a case. So it is with Anwar's current sodomy case. Mohd.Saiful. the star witness, has now been accused of having an affair with Farah Azlina Latifa, a deputy public prosecutor and a member of the prosecutor's team.
Irrespective of any reason given by the DPP Mohd Hanafiah Zakaria, the perception is that the intergrity of the prosecution has been compromised. It is his words that Farah never had access to investigation papers. What else do you expect him to say? that they did have an affair? Anyway a reasonable doubt has been raised. And we all know how our umno lawyers and judges  do with the law. The fact that the judge had disallowed the two to be called to the stand to answer the alleged romantic affair is further indication that the judge had abused his power and the defence is again being stone-walled. Enough condemnation of our justice system has been made, and yet our CJ now brags that other countries are looking towards our system to emulate.(read here). Sure or not? or just siok sendiri saja.

"Justice" Azahar Mohamed

Introducing:
The Honourable Justice Dato' Azahar bin Mohamed DIMP, KMN
High Court Judge Kuala Lumpur (Commercial 5)
Appointed Judicial Commissioner on 1 August 2004.
Appointed High Court Judge on 21 December 2004.
"He was the prosecutor accused of fabricating false evidence against Anwar Ibrahim together with Gani Patail during the corruption trial in 1999 in the Zainur Zakaria vs Public Prosecutor case.

The Federal Court subsequently stated that there was a prima facie case justifying the application to disqualify these two prosecutors, noting that both had not denied the accusation at the material time. This statement has not been contradicted or challenged to date."
He was also the  judge who handed out the atrociously "double-standard" judgment in the Perak Speaker vs Speaker case on Sept 8, 2009?
Now he has taken to the podium again, this time by striking out Zaid Ibrahim's application to annul Malaysia's dirtiest by-election for the Hulu Selangor constituency. The reasons (here) he gave had not only disgraced the Judiciary system but had made Malaysia a permanent laughing stock to the whole world. However, if there is any credit to be given, he must be given the credit of being able to twist the law to suit his own  judgement. Only a person who has totally lost his conscience for justice can come up with such reasons. Only devine intervention can save the judiciary system and the country.

The Police Lied to justify its Brutality?

My faith in the police had totally vanished after witnessing what happened in front of the Amcorp Mall, PJ  during the candlelight protest against the ISA. The police had not only lied but had used these lies to justified their brutality.  ACP Arjunaidi Mohamad had lied about the sequence of events. First he lied (The Sun) that the protestors were stopped by a human barricade of Ligh Strike Force (LSF) when they moved towards Dataran Timur. Yes the barricade was there, but no one prevented the protestors from moving into the field. After a very short gathering, and singing of the National Anthem, they retreated into the car park towards the Mall. It is during this time that the LSF started their attack on the crowd, pushing them rowards the Mall. Then he lied again when he said that at 8.45pm the protestors  started to march towards Dataran Timur again. This is 100% a blatant lie. When the protestors retreated the first time, they were already trapped in the Mall, as the LSF had formed a barricade infront of the Mall entrance. And after having trapped the protestors in the Mall, the police then went in  and began to drag out innocent Malaysians, one by one, whose only crime was to want to voice their dissent against a draconian law, and their only weapon was the candle. Take a hard look at the video clip and see how these people were being dragged out like criminals, especially the young girls, shouting and screaming.
I salute those who were arrested and led out in handcuffs. I want to tell these people that there is no shame for being arrested, and there was no need to lower your heads. Hold your heads high and walk tall for we salute you for taking our place.
As for the police, it was indeed a crying shame, shame the police force and shame the country. Imagine at times, having 6 to 8 people struggling to bring one person to the black maria.

FDI plunges because of quality investment-Mustapa

If ever marks are to be given for ingenuity, then it must be given to minister Mustapa Muhamed for coming up with the reason for the fall in FDI. He has explained away  the sharp drop (a plunge of 81%) in foreign direct investment (FDI) to Malaysia by saying the government was going for quality investments rather than quantity. So instead of admitting our setback to attract FDI, we invent a reason for our failure. I must really take my hat off to the umno/bn minsters for coming up with reasons which we intelligent people never think off. This guy must be super intelligent. So the next time our FDI surges 81%, all these investments will be of low quality, right? So lets forget about the inflow of money and keep our FDI low so as to ensure quality investment.

Non-Muslims clubs in schools in spotlight.

So you Chinese(MCA)  and Indians(MIC)  still want to remain in the Barisan National coalition? Slowly and subtlely the umno-run institutions are going to make you and the culture you practise, disappear. If the case of the Klang High School being told to close down its non-muslim religious club had not been highlighted, others would not have come forward to reveal what was going on. SMK SS17 in Subang Jaya, Selangor, had without warning ordered the school’s Buddhist Society and Christian Fellowship to stop holding meetings and carrying out religious activities in January last year, stunning students and parents alike. Similar situations had happened in Negri Sembilan, and who knows, more will be revealed.
The Malays have Perkasa to fight for their rights. So what are you in the MCA and MIC doing? Wake up man. We are not asking for anything new, except what is already granted in the constitution, and what is already permitted. Now that the DPM has reaffirmed that non-muslim clubs can continue and that neither his ministry nor the Education Dept. had ever issued any directive for such closures, then those little napoleans who issued the orders to terminate such clubs should be punished. This will send a clear signal that such arbitrary ruling cannot be tolerated. But then again, from what has been happening in this country, bet you nothing will be done.

Country's FDI down 81% for 2009

With the news we have been reading lately, most of us must now know that our country is in bad shape. According to the World Investment Report  2010 just unveiled,(read here) our FDI plunged 81 percent from US$7.32 billion (RM23.47 billion) in 2008 to just US$1.38 billion (RM4.43 billion) last year, a decline of US5.9 billion. The FDI of neighbouring countries like Thailand and Indonesia did not contract as badly as ours. And yet all this while certain leaders have been bickering about ketuanan Melayu and the rights of the Malays. On top of that our govt. of the day prefers to spend their time trying to wrestle back power from the PKR states by devious means, trying to pin Anwar Ibrahim on a framed-up sodomy charge and going after RPK. Our oil reserve is depleting and the last round of price increase is starting to take its toll. So what has the BN government done to bring back foreign investment?? Nothing. There is really nothing the BN govt. can do because foreigners do not trust that they will have a fair deal in this country, should there be any controversy. The internet has seen to it that the whole world knows what is happening in Malaysia.
Meanwhile the umno leaders will continue to rape the country and park their investment and money in other countries. And the 'blind' Malay followers will one day wake up to find all their leaders gone, and there is no one left to fight for ketuanan Malayu and Malay rights.

Police wants exclusive rights to their uniform-good move

Thank goodness the authority has finally come to its senses. The decision to gazette the police uniform (Sunday Star, 18 June) is long overdue and it is really amazing that it should take so long for them to realise the stupidity and confusion it is causing. Take for instance the uniform of the MPSJ parking enforcement officer. It looks exactly like that worn by the traffic police, especially with a white stripe along the side of the trousers. From a distance you could easily mistake one for a traffic policeman. The Federal police deputy director of management (training) Datuk Mortadza Nazaren said that they are now gazetting the police uniform so that they could have exclusive rights to its use. But why in the first place should the other departments come out with a uniform that closely resembles the one that is used by the police? And why is there no law to prohibit the rampant imitation by others? Do they want the public to think that they are policemen? Probably it is a feeling of police power that they want to exude.

It Takes aThief to Know a Thief.

It takes a thief to know a thief. And that's exactly what Zahrain Hashim is. Being a thief, he knows how a thief would react to situations. People like him would never do anything if there is nothing for him to gain. It is impossible for him to understand and believe that rightious people are prepared to spend their own money to see that justice is metted out. Just because he was being sponsored by umno for his US trip in return for his betrayal of PKR, he thinks others must be like him. Such low class mentality can only conclude that one must be paid for a favour. Now he goes further to accuse Bala's lawyer, Americk Sidhu, of telling Bala what to say should the macc interview him. How can a parliamentarian show such stupidity? But then again, who is Zahrain? a frog, a betrayal of the party and of the people's trust. And between Americk and Zahrain, who would you believe and trust?

From a Jailbird to a Chief Minister

The following documentry was produced by Hongkong TVB and will never be shown over any of our TV channels. In the United States, they have the actor Arnold Schwarzenegger who became the Governor of California. And over in our country we have Lim Guan Eng, and ordinary Malaysian who became a jailbird for fighting the rights of an underage Malaysian girl, and is now the Chief Minster of Penang.
This clip ( in 3 parts) is very inspiring and many countries are turning their attention towards Penang now. One thing is for sure. The BN will never retake Penang, unless it is through another back-door wherein all the rules and constitution are thrown out of the window.

Disunity will only weaken UMNO Malay Power

"Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin reminded the Malays that they face the possibility of losing political power if they continue to be divided."
This should have read,"Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin reminded the UMNO Malays that they face the possibility of losing UMNO political power if they continue to be divided." The fact that there are also Malays in the DAP. PAS and Keadilan doesn't seem to register in his kampong mentality. The fact that when PKR takes over Putrajaya, the Malays will still be in power and the PM will still be a Malay, is not important to him. What he wants is UMNO Malay power and an UMNO Malay PM. He can only sell this to the Kampong Malays who are still subservient to the Umnos, but a time will come when they too will wake up. This is another lie that the umnos are spreading. Before this the ex PM Mahathir said that the Malays would become a minority race  and now, this minority race will lose its power. Anyway, one view came from a senile old man and another from a jagur kampong- not really creditable anyway.

EC Chairman - Cakap tak serupa Bikin

How do you expect us Malaysians to show respect for some, in fact most, of our leaders when they either flip-flop in their deliberations or show immaturity in their arguments?  In fact it is an embarrassment to have such people as leaders of our nation. Take for instance the excuses given by the EC chairman, Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof when told that the EC is not doing enough to ensure a fair and free election. First he said that the EC is not a Superman and cannot be expected to do everything. Then he cited examples from the Bible such as different parts of the body having different functions.. and concluded that  “The EC is the expert in matters of elections… for prosecution, there are better people at it ." How very true. So how come the Election Commission (EC) had the right to declare whether state seats were vacant or not thereby allowing  the three Perak state assembly persons who quit their parties to become independents to keep their seats? In your own words, you are the hand and should stick to the job of the hands. The Speaker is the mouth and it is his job to decide whether a seat is vacant or not. So how does your argument apply here? Aren't you taking the role of a superman here? Anyway, we all know how you guys in umno works. Your modus operandi is well-known. But what amazes me is that you fellos got the gall and arrogance to put aside your conscience amd look the public straight in the eyes and utter lies and half truths. And as for his response to corruption and bribery, I am still trying to decipher his views. (Read here)

Mahathir says Malays will be a Minority - Senility confirmed!

Poor demented Mahathir. He has really come full circle from his 'Malay Delima'. Instead of putting his sunset years to cementing the racial ties, he goes round creating fears among the Malays. Last  month he stated that the community leaders are under the thumb  of "the others" and need to be united again for the sake of the future. Now he says the Malay will become a minority in future. "You only need to open the door to immigration" he said. The fact that he can come to such a conclusion clearly shows that he is demented, senile and out of sync with the present day situation. Firstly, he was the first to open the immigration gates in Sabah to Filipinos, Indonesians and other pendatangs to become Malaysian Malays. Secondly, with so many non-Malays migrating out of the country, how can he still say that the Malays will become a minority? With the well-known preferential treatment given to the Malays, which  non-Malay race would want to come here? This pathetic old man is really determined to create as much havoc as possible so that he can to go out with a big bang. How can a man who professes that he loves his country go to such an extent to create fear and instability. And those who believe in his theory are just as blurr. For the sake of the future of this country, let us hope the young Malays will rise up and tell Mahathir to stop his nonsence.

Who is being hypocritical now?

My, my, who is being hypocritical now. In Kuala Kangsar, Minister Nazri accused the Opposition of being hypocritical with regards to the sports betting issue. He further added that the decision not to issue the sporting licence was "based on feedback from the people." Gee, since when had the umno government been so accomodating towards the feelings of the people? Did they ever base their feedback of the people when they raise the prices of certain commodities, esp. petrol or toll charges, or building of mega projects, or raping of green lungs? When it suits their plans, its system go, no matter who objects. That is the fact and dont give us this bullshit about listening to the people.
Another case of BN hypocrisy is the RM150,000 arches at the Penang Botanical Gardens which was built by the State Development Office which comes under the Prime Minister's dept. Now that the aches are leaning percariously, Minister Ng Yen Yen announced the ministry's decision to demolish it. Now the hypocricy part of it. Minister Yen said that the decision to demolish the arches was based on an online public opinion poll conducted by the ministry on its website. It found that 71.3% or 873 people of 1225 repondents wanted them demolished. So there you go. Public opinion counts. But lets see how far this will go. Lets see whether they will weigh public opinion when they discuss  the crooked bridge, the new Parliament building, the next round of price increases.

Yes, Please Define what is Sedition.

Yes, Yes, please do define what is sedition. To an ordinary man like me, what was uttered by Nasir  was 100% seditious and yet Minister Nazri said it is not. So it is now up to the minister or the judge to decide whether words uttered are seditious or not. So far all seditious statements uttered by the Oppositions are considered seditious and all statements utterred by the BN, especially umnos, are either not seditious or it is taken out of context or some other stupid excuses. Give me a break. I am not that stupid, stupid! Why not just come out and say that you are in control and you can interprete the law anyway you want. At least there  is honesty there and I can deal with that. But to twist and turn the law and to think that we will accept everything in toto, is a damn insult to our intelligence.
Karpal Singh was charged for sedition for simply suggesting that a ruler could be brought to court. Theresa Kok was charged for having allegedly said that the prayers from the mosque was too loud and had to be ISAed for her own protection. Sheeeesh! what a waste of time and money and human resources.
As for Loh Seng Kok who asked Putrajya to define what is sedition, I thank him for standing up and be counted. And I urge him to follow it up and insist that the question be answered. Otherwise it will just be another show-off that the MCA is doing something to win back the voters.

Hey MACC, are you home?

The properties shown in the three photos belong to the Sarawak Chief Minister, Taib Mahmud. The car is a bullet-proof Rolls Royce. Apart from this, he has assets all over the world worth billions. As a CM he earns RM20,000 a month. He claims that right after he took over power in the 1980s, he and his entire family members suddenly became excellent business people. Hence the accumulated wealth. But his own people, the Sarawakians remain poor. I have seen movies of drug lords living in opulent haciendas and ranches while their subjects suffer, but I never thought that such a situation would exist in my own backward. And yet, come election, the people of Sarawak still voted him in, for a mere pittiance. On top of that, they have been robbed off their land and subjected to cruelty by the logging companies. ENOUGH, WAKE UP and Voice Your Choice.

Monday, June 21, 2010

Finally Taib comes to his senses, er almost!

The Chief Minister of Sarawak, Taib Mahmud has finally admitted that the people of his constituent dislike him.(read here) He must have really felt guilty after his global wealth was exposed, while his own people still wallow in poverty. He must have also felt really guilty for not having kept his promise to uplift the living standard of his people. And what did he promise? He promised the people of Sarawak that in return for their land and destruction of the rainforest they would receive a future bathed in wealth and prosperity. He promised them a modern standard of living comparable to advanced countries. He promised the Iban good compensation when they were forced from their homes to make way for the building of the dam but they were charge more for their new homes. He promised free water and electricity from the dam, but this promise has since been broken. He promised the people at Batang Ai that if they voted for him he would pay millions of ringgit to improve their longhouses and their roads. But that did not happen. Meanwhile he and his family and cronies amass properties worth billions around the world. Is it therefore any wonder his own kind dislikes him.
He then appeals to the people not to abandon BN just because they dont like him. Is he still blurr or what? He and the BN, especially the umnos, are just as guilty for the present situation in Sarawak. What? do you mean the hands of the umnos are clean? You have been scratching each others back for the past 50 years and the fact remains that Malaysia's richest state has the poorest population.

Do You Still Want to Complain?

Let's take a moment and pray for the kids, and others in similar sitiuation, as seen in this video.

Another frog leaps!

There goes another frog! This time its Malim Mawar state assemblyman, Keshvinder Singh from the DAP. Watch the video and watch his body movements. Do you think he really believes himself?
Anyway, his reason for leaving to become an independent is because he could not get the money to help his constituency. If that is so, there wont be any Opposition MPs or Aduns left as everyone would have the same problem. What a pathetic reason. But others stay on to highlight the plights and go down to the grass-roots to explain. But I guess this Singh decides to take the easy way out and wait for handouts from the umnos. Probably he'll get more than hand-outs. No way is someone going to leap frog without being rewarded handsomely. The reward must have been too tempting for him to decide to sacrifice honour, intergrity and dignity.

Look who's talking?

Hypocrits! hypocrits! hypocrits! I say 3 times hypocrits! What kind of religion is that while acknowledging that something is sinful, then advocates it to others? In the Dewan Rakyat, Bung Moktar Radin had urged the government to go ahead to legalise sports betting, just because the non-Malay community wants it. And since it is a billion ringgit business, it is alright to legalise it. So this umno muslim government doesn't mind obtaining money from a sinful source. Sheeesh! what kind of reasoning is that? Fancy, after having caught for breaking the muslim marriage law, he now advocates the another law can be broken because the non-malays want it. How many layers of skin does this Bung have, I wonder? And you, the non-Malay gamblers out there, be known that you are being made use of. This is typical of the umno government. If they want to do something, they will create thousand and one reasons to justify their action. And where are Ibrahim Ali and Zulkifli Nordin, the great defender of the muslim faith. Can we have the umno govt. next legalise prostitution or corruption, as they are also big money churning business? and the non-malays also want this.

Bumi votes already in the bag -Sarawak CM

CM Taib of Sarawak said that the Bumi votes are already in the bag. And the reason he gave, "The bumiputeras are humble. They know they are poor and in difficulty. So they place high hopes in the government to help them out."
If the people of Sarawak still cannot read this as an insult and continued oppression, then they truly deserve their lot. After 47 years, they are still poor and in difficulty. So how come with its wealth from its abundant natural resources, the people still remains poor? And they will continue to live in poverty as long as they vote for BN, for the tactics of Taib and the BN is to make the people rich and feel good temporarily prior to election. After that they are left on their own and forgotten until the next election. Please open your eyes and see how the CM and his cronies are living. You have given Taib and the BN 47 years and you are still in the same situation. Its high time you deserve something better and a change of government cannot be any worse, but better.

PM's approval rating at a record high

Acording to independent pollster Merdeka Centre, Najib Abdul Razak's approval rating has hit a record high at 72 percent, up from 69 percent in April

Is this a joke? Who were the respondents. and where were they chosen from? With so much excess baggages yet to be cleared and with the "you help me I help you" still fresh on everyone's lips, the respondents must be really out of touch with reality. It was also reported that out of 1028 respondents, half or 47 percent of them are unemployed. This means for every 2 respondents interviewed, 1 is unemployed. This speaks very poorly of our employement rate, does it not? Moreover this is contradictory to the government's claim that the unemployment rate in Malaysia is 3.7%?

Lets hope that this has not bloated Najib's ego and that he will do well to remember what happened to his predecessor who after having garnered a popularity rating of more than 90% lost 4 states and umnos's two-third majority in Parliament in 12 GE.

The Shameless Five

Take a good look at their faces. They called themselves Konsensus Bebas (Independent Consensus) and they are to act as an "effective, independent and non-partisan parliamentary bloc. They were formally PKR members , but before that they were either sacked or rejects of umnos and Gerakan and even DAP. I suppose it never occurred to them to ask themselves why they were sacked or rejected? They have now betrayed the trust given to them by the voters who voted for them because they stood under PKR. According to Malaysia Today and other blogs, they are tainted to the core. And yet they have the cheek to show themselves. Look again, look carefully. Do you see faces that can be trusted?  And as for being non-partisan, yeah its like concluding that sodomy has taken place even without penetration.

Do Our Leaders know what they are Saying?

See how stupid our ministers/leaders are.
From the new transport minister, Kong Chor Ha, regarding the PKFZ investiagtion.
"I think enough investigations and studies have been done on that issue. So, I don't think there is need to (re-examine) the investigation," and then in the next breath, he said "I also have to know exactly what the PKFZ is about,"
If he does not know exactly what PKFZ is all about, then how can he conclude that enough investigations and studies have been done? Sheeeesh!!!
Next. comes our former CM Khir Toyol.
He said said "gambling of any kind was forbidden in Islam and the government must put safe guards to ensure Muslims don’t get involved." Then in the next breath, he said “But economically it is practical to allow legalised sports betting so the government can obtain revenue,”
Can anyone make any sense out of this ? Gambling is forbidden in Islam, but the govt. is practically run my Muslims, and it now issues a gambling licence. What hypocrisy is this. And the best part is that this muslim govt. will forbid their kind from sinning but will give permission for the other races to sin. I will never believe that Muslims in its pure form, will condone this.
Finally Khir Toyol concluded that with a stroke of a pen, gambling becomes OK if it can bring in revenue for the govenment. So its back to money again. Everything is OK as long as there is money.
Sheeeesh, sheeesh, I say sheesh 3 times.!!!

The Arsehole specialist.

So this is the doctor, Dr.Mohd. Razali Ibrahim, that concluded that the presence of semen around the arsehole is conclusive evidence that penetration had taken place. Furthermore there was no evidence of bruises. So I have been cracking my head as to how this could have happened, and still have not come up with an answer. Incidentally, if Razali's conclusion is medicallly possible, can the MMA please explain to the public how so. If Razali is talking nonsence, please censure him so that we will not have half past six doctors manning our hospitals. Anyway, I for one will never consult him if I have an arsehole problem. A simple haemorroid maybe diagnosed as a cancerous growth by him. Folks, you know who he is and you have been warned.

Another RPK fan ???

Want to know how to get into the news? All you got to do is say something bad about RPK on behalf of Umno and you are in the news. First it was Mohd. Paud Zarkashit,(shit 1) who called for the exposure of RPK's sponsors. Then came Syed Ali Alhabsheet (shit 2) who suggested that the Government revoke the citizenship of the RPK. And this comes from a man who is a Pendatang and a celup and who has the gall to suggest the citizenship of RPK, a certified subject of the Selangor Sultan, be revoked. The latest to get into the act is the former Kedah Speaker Rozai Shafian.(left). When Kedah fell into PR's hands, he also lost his speaker's position and the power that went with it. And typical of umno's character, he must rise from the grave to give a few barks occasionally.  He branded RPK a henchman, and wants the govt. to go after the funders. Now there is the switch in strategy. They know where RPK is but cannot do a thing. They can't arrest him, can't extradict him and can't revoke his citizenship. So now  they are turning their attention to the sponsors and funders. What an embarrassment! The mugshot above is to let you people know how a real henchman looks like.

Is Samy going nuts?

Samy, oh Samy, you've really gone senile. But I suppose most senile people would have done the same. What he is actually saying is "to hell with all of you. Since I am getting out, I might as well get out with as loud a bang as possible". Your dictatorial action in sacking anyone that mouths something that you dont like, is typical of a mad and confused man. You've definately loss your sanity. The sacking of V.Mugilan, K.P Samy and G.Kumar may have been justified, but to sack your Secretary-general, Murugesu, is just uncalled for. What has he done or said? He did'nt ask you to leave and neither did he support GAS. All he did was expressed his opinion that the sacking of members should be done as a last resort. And as a leader and Sec.-Gen, he should be given that right to do so. Or issit you want dumb followers only?
But then again, maybe Samy is trying to prove, especially to Umnos, that he still has power, albeit fast declining.
What is amazing is that the other members of the CWC and the majority of the MIC members, are not speaking out. If they can't speak their minds in their own backyard, how then are they going to speak against Tai Kor, the Umnos?

The Fall of Idris Jala

When Idris Jala accepted the offer by Najib to join the BN government, I predicted that it would be the beginning of the end of his glorious image of one who brought MAS back to profitability. Many others had also expressed the same views.
With his recent annoucement that the country would go bankrupt in 2019 if subsidies were not removed, he has clearly shown that he has left his brains at home.  2019 is just a year before 2020 when the country would be declared a developed state, so how he came to such a conclusion is really baffling.  With vast natural resources at our disposal to tap into (as compared to our next door neighbour which is only a small dot)), on what basis did he base his assumptions? Moereover, the Prime Minister had announced sometime back that the country is back on the road to, not only economic recovery, but STRONG economic trecovery. So who do we believe?
In his announcement, Idris is also placing the cart before the horse. He should first be pointing out how our money is lost through corruption, leakages, commission and bale-outs. For instance, every year we lost RM20 billion through the payment of commission for building houses, stadiums and buying submarines (that cannot submerge). In short he should advise the government on how to get to the root cause of our impending bankruptcy, and not on how to deal with the symptoms. Granted that subsidies had to be removed gradually, but if he had put the horse in front (spell out the root causes of the problem) then place the cart behind (steps to take to remove the subsidies as per his announcements), then the rakyat would probably be more amiable to his plans.
Secondly, Idris has also shown his inexeperience as a government servant. He must realise that he is not dealing with a set group of people as in Shell or MAS. In such a scenerio, he being the CEO, can dictate his terms and the employees can leave or be sacked. But here he is dealing with the rakyat of Malaysia, 11.5 million work force. and he cannot employ the same tactic as he did in MAS.
Removing subsidies affect the poor. Removeing the root cause affect the rich, especially in umno.
Finally on a personal note. I have relatives and friends who worked in MAS when you were the CEO, but sad to say, most of them are embarrassed when your name is being mentioned in their presence. Do the honorable thing. Call a spade a spade, and if cannot, do the Zaid Ibrahim.

MCA's new Strategy to win back the Chinese

The new MCA President has embarked on a bold plan to win back the Chinese. He is asking the PM for RM 1 billion to buy back the Chinese. He plans to use the money to build 10 new schools and relocate 15 others apart from covering issues of economic liberalisation, human capital development and others.
These issues that are highlighted are not the fundamental issues. The fundamental issues are justice, democratic freedom, good governance, corruption. For instance the justice system sucks. How many decisions by the judges have been made in favour of the umnos or those supporting umno? Even if the initial decision was made in favour of the Opposition, this was eventually overturned by another court or the Court of Appeal, as in the cases of Nizar Jamaluddin and Tan Boon Wah. As if that is not enough, judges are now speaking on behalf of and defending the accused, as in the case of Nazri who was let off the hook for contempt.
And as you have also rightly pointed out that BN is losing Chinese support because of Ibrahim Ali and his Perkasa, so get rid of the likes of people like Ibrahim Ali.
So dont think you can buy the Chinese with umno's dirty money. Haven'y you learned anything from the Sibu by-election yet?

Dr Chua said the MCA had taken full stock of the reasons behind the fleeing Chinese support, and had incorporated the community’s needs and requests in the party’s proposal for the plan.

He pointed out that the reasons behind the failing support were due to poor implementation of government policies and a lack of government allocation for the community’s needs.

“Often it is at the implementation level that there is red tape, bureaucracy, abuse of power, delay and corruption. Sometimes, (government) officers have too much power vested in them, too much discretionary power.

“This is why the Chinese often feel they are treated like second-class citizens. It is not the policies per se because we have plenty of that but it is the problem of implementation,” Dr Chua said.

RPK's Body Guards -

RPK with his Special Force Body-Guards
Hey, Mus, want to meet these guys? Care to send your own special force, clad in balaclava suit, to try to nab RPK, as you did Anuar Ibrahim. But first get your DNA kid ready as you may not recognise your men after the encounter.
Flanked by two burley men in dark glasses, RPK  swaggered into a packed hall in London to give an account of his personal experience in campaigning for greater transparency and accountability in Malaysian politics. He further challenged  the Malaysian authorities to bring standing charges against him to the courts in the United Kingdom insisting that he would fight all the charges on a level playing field. I have high-lighted "level playing field" for the benefit of all those ball-carriers and uneducated in the umno-controlled judiciary system, who insisted that RPK be man enough to go back to face the music.

Wanna Bet?

Macc said that investigation will be carried out against Najib who has been accused of an election offence during the Sibu By-election. Macc Investigating Director, Mustaffa Ali, reiterated that Macc is 'colour blind' and would not be biased in its action.
This must be a joke. What action is he talking about ? Having said that action would be taken, he then said that whether or not there is a case would depend on the Attorney-General's office. Wanna bet that after all the sandiwara, the AG will declare NFA with an excuse that what Najib said was his own opinion or some other stupid excuses. Look, this has been done before, so investigate all you want, but we already know the result. As long as you are umno or with umno, the law is on your side, no matter what you do.

Ismail Omar, What have got to say now?

The Asst. IGP, Tan Sri Ismail Omar said,
"Raja Petra is alive and free. We have been hunting him for a while now and this is a good opportunity for us to capture him,"
"We are in touch with Scotland Yard and they know he is highly wanted in our list. A lot of effort have been put in by all parties concerned. Hopefully, if everything goes to plan, we will have him nabbed soon,".
BUT Scotland Yard says:
"there is no extradition request from the Malaysian government, nor is there any warrant of arrest issued against Raja Petra Kamarudin," The statement further added,
"there is no extradition treaty between the Malaysian and British governments so it would be extremely difficult for Malaysia to request for anyone to be extradited from the UK."
What now Ismail Omar? You've made a fool of yourself with your ignorance and stupidity. Either that or you've been lying to the rakyat all along. But I suppose you and your bosses dont care much about world opinion as long as you can do whatever you want in your little backyard.
