Reason Why non-Malays are not patriotic!!!

Would the Defence Minister explain why the acting Selangor police chief, Datuk Thaiveegan was bypassed from being a Police chief. In any normal circumstance, the acting would be promoted to replace the head who may have retired or transferred. Instead someone below him in rank, a Datuk Tun Hisan Tun Hamzah, was first conveniently  made to take over the acting post and then promoted as the new chief. What kind of manipulation is this? This is not only a humiliation to Datuk Thaiveegan but also an outright practice of discrimination.
Now can you see why non-Malays are not interested in joining the police, the army or any institution that is practising this blatant discrimination. Datuk Thaiveegan is almost there. He is just one step away to be the chief, but no, the umno Malays would never allow this. So dont give me this bullshit about patriotism.

Those Chinese who support MCA are Traitors & Shameless

What does it take for people in the MCA to feel utterly ashamed for selling their souls and at the same time, the rights of the Chinese just to hold on to power and kow-tow to the umnos? Are they still in deep slumber not to realise what is happening in our country? The police , the macc and the judiciary are all umno owned. Take a look at all the recent court cases. Can they honestly say and swear on their mothers' grave (or whoever's graves that are sacred to them) that they agree with all the wheeling and dealings of the lawyers from the AG's office?
Closing both eyes to all the injustice, selective persecution and prosecution is bad enough, but now this MCA guy, Ti Lian Ker is trying to rouse up Chinese sentiments against the Selangor  government for giving scholarship to only 12 Chinese applicants. And as usual, the mca-owned media, the Star was superfast to capitalise on this and accused the DAP-led government of not looking into the interest of the Chinese.
However, Theresa Kok of the DAP had showed facts and figures to counter Ti's accusation and this was only fully reported in Malaysia Chronicle (read here). As a responsible paper, the Star should have printed this revelation and shamed Ti for the baseless accusations. But this will never happen. So please fellow Chinese, let's send the mca to Jurassic Park.

Bro. Haris hangs up his robes.

I read in Haris latest blog ( Returning the Judiciary to the Rakyat at http://harismibrahim.wordpress.com/) that he has decided to hang up his robes, cease his legal practice and to devote his time working with the rakyat in the coming months to establish a new government with a reform-minded prime minister after the 13th General Election.

I truly empathise with the agony and frustration that he is going through resulting in his decision to hang up his robes and to cease legal practice in this hoplessley decadent judiciary system. Reading in between the lines, I can feel your sadness of how your lofty ideals of a noble profession being crushed and demolished by our incompetent and illiterate judges. Indeed there is no justice at all, especially for the ordinary rakyat. I salute you for your stand. When a new fair and just government takes over, we pray that you will come back and help put all these spineless judges where they truly belong - in jail.

Beware of the lull of silence

Sign of an early election is on the wall. The obvious sign is the silence of retaliation and bashing of the Chinese and Indians. Since the outburst on low-patriotism level of the non-Malays by the Defence minister, there have been scores of articles refuting the allegations and even taking him to task. Under normal circumstances, umnos, perkasa  and even the chelup indians would come out in defence of the minister and warning the nons not to be arrogant and reminding that the nons are either kaki botol or mata sepet and mere penumpang. Where are these voices now? Obviously they have been told to zip up as their votes are needed. On the other hand there had been praises heaped on the Chinese for their contribution to the economy of the country (read here). This is an obvious indication that the 13 GE is round the corner. The umnos are relying on the theory that we Malaysians are "senang lupa", i.e. after sometime we will forget the injustice, the corruption and the selective persecution pepetuated by the umnos. Fat hope. The hurt is still there and we know that once you get back into power, you will 'teruskan' all your nonsence.

Another Opposition Motion shot down!

Another motion was again shot down by the Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia.YB YB Lim Kit Siang had questioned the government’s commitment in condeming Utusan Malaysia’s editorial on the May 13 tragedy, which he described as seditious in nature. He had asked Deputy Home Minister Datuk Wira Abu Seman his views on Utusan Malaysia's opinion piece, which had called the bloody racial clash in 1969 a “sacred day” and a “blessing in disguise”. However, the Speaker responded that his queries had nothing to do with the Home ministry and further added that it was a hypothetical question.
Statements which can cause unrest and destabilise the security of the country is not the concern of the Home Minstry? Come on Mr Speaker, you have really gone too far with your blind loyalty to umno. You dare said that it was a hypothetical question. And should this hypothetical question becomes a reality, we the Malaysian rakyat shall hold you responsible, for though you now have the power to discuss and debate this issue in Parliament to prevent further deterrioration of the situation, you did not. Mr. Speaker, please remember that everytime Utusan Malaysia gets away with any seditious overtures, the braver they would become. The powder keg is waiting to explode, and that is what Utusan Malaysia is creating.

A Dream comes True for SCCSJ

After wondering from one place to another since its inception in 1997, the Senior Citizens Club of Subang Jaya has finally got its own permanent Day Centre cum Club house. The new Club house is situated at 40, Jalan USJ 6/6K Subang Jaya. This has been made possible through the effort of Nascom, under the able leadership of its never-say-die 93-year old Datuk Lum Kin Tuck. Nascom paid RM480K for the corner lot double-story building. Rennovation cost another RM61,815.00 and Nascom again contibuted RM31,815.00 and the balance was paid from the funds of the Club.
From a humble beginning, the SCCSJ has indeed come far and credit must be given to the present team under the leadership Yong Teik Boon.
With a permanent location, the Club is now able to go full steam ahead with all its programme which include language classes, computer class, dancing lessons, art and craft skills and many others.
To be a member costs only a mere RM12 per year. However its better to pay RM100 to become a life member. For further information, contact the Club at 03-56382151.

Manipulation of the law and injustice mean nothing to the voters at Galas & Batu Sapi

The two buy-elections are over and the the BN has won both, and Mahathir's famous words "Melayu senang lupa" ring out loud and clear. However it should not only apply to the Malays but should be applied to all those who voted for the BN in the recently concluded Galas and Batu Sapi by-election. They have forgotten all injustices pepetuated by the umnos through the police, the macc and the judiciary. The Indians have forgotten how their kind have been marginalised and brutalised while in lock-up. They have even forgotten the most recent case of Selvchandran who was whacked in front of his family and then kidnapped. The Chinese have forgotten the long-drawn case of Teoh Beng Hock and how the police, the macc and even the judge tried to manipulate the evidences. The Malays have forgotten the shooting of Aminulrasyid and throughout the investigation, they have tried to shift the blame to somebody else. They have forgotten the Anwar Sodomy II trial where the judge had refused to provide the relevant documents important to the defence .  How can any right-thinking person ignore such injustices and let the sight of money abliterate all senses of  values. Even if there is no money invovlved we should put a stop to the high-handed decisions of the umno institutions which are totally devoid of fairness and justice. But then again, what do the orang asli and the people in the jungle know about Selvachandran, Teoh Beng Hock or even Anwar?  What can the outcome of the trial or investigation do to meet their needs? Nothing. So why bother. Give them cash and you have their votes. That's about sum up the reason why BN won.

Is the EC closing both eyes to Bribery?

I dont get it. Bribery happened in the open and the Election Commission had closed both eyes to this. The Banks in Sandakan had reported large sums of withdrawals so much so some banks had been unable to facilitate such large withdrawals due to technicalities. Recepients of cash, for example,  a taxi driver, said that "they (taxi drivers) are being given RM250 each and ordinary voters are getting RM150 each. Several people said that they were promised RM100 to RM150 more as they cast their ballots. Then huge crowd had gathered at the MCA operation centre here after talk spread that the party was giving “handouts”. When approached the recepients showed brown envelops containg RM250.00. Muhyiddin Yassin was accused of corruption after distributing RM300 each to a group of elderly residents during a visit to Kampung Batu Papan, as reported by Harakahdaily With all these as evidences, shouldn't the EC. at least look into it and start an investigation? Then  UMNO was also quick to claim that the zakat payment given by Tok Guru, to three Orang Asli who embraced Islam was a form of corruption. So if it is, then EC should take action. But to act against Tok Guru means the EC must act against the umnos as well. So best is not to take any action. Thus everyone escaped and cash hand-outs will become more rampant in future buy-elections.

"the case is closed" So says who? the AG or the law?

The Attorney-General’s Chambers has declared that "There will be no further investigations on private investigator P Balasubramaniam’s conflicting statutory declarations (SDs) as the case is now closed." The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department also said that "the decision to close the case was made after “careful consideration” of the results of the police probe and witness statements."
So easy as that ka? and what careful consideration is he talking about? Under Section 199 of the Penal Code for providing “false statements.” those who provide false imformation are liable to a maximum jail term of three years and a fine.
Someone has broken the law, (Bala for one for providing contradictory SD, so one must be false), and prominant people had been implicated and the AG can conveniently say the case is closed. Who the hell does he think he is? Is there no rule anymore? So you can simply switch off and say no case if the the case does not run in favour of the umnos, your boss or your cronies. What the hell is this country coming to? Come the 13 GE, use your vote to vote the these criminals out, and when Pakatan takes over Putrajaya, the AG and all his cronies can be hauled up for crimes against humanity and just laws.

Najib did it, its OK. PAS did it, its a bribe.

PAS  is offering up to RM 250 for a ANYONE of the 1,557 voters in Galas reportedly working outstation to come back and vote, regardless of their political leanings. No condition.
In response to this the EC deputy Chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar told reporters that the offer could be interpreted as an offence under Section 10 of Election Offences Act 1954. He further added that the macc and the police could investigate and recommend action if a report was lodged over the matter.
Now compare the above to the following:
"you help me, I help” and "Let’s make a deal. If you deliver me Robert Lau Jr on Sunday, I will sign the cheque on Monday." CONDITION. We all know who uttered those words. And according to Election Commission it was not an issue and passed the buck to Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission to investigate. And we all know the result.

Hey Mr. Wan Omar, which one sounds more of a bribe?  But then again, you and the EC is without doubt, under the control of the umnos, and everything must be decided in their favour even if it means ignoring the facts and truth resulting in the loss of your own dignity and intergrity.

Is this what the police has sworn to do?

According to a Malaysia Chronicles report, the Malaysian police has beaten and tortured Selvachandran, a key witness to police brutality. Read here.
Human rights NGO SUARAM confirmed that "He was beaten, kicked and punched on his chest by the police. He is now having some hearing problem after he was badly assaulted on the first and second day of his detention.”

Is this really happening in our country? No one seeems to be doing anything about it. The Home Minister refused to infere with police work and the IGP is silent too. As a result the police are getting braver and more arrogant. Who dares to go to the police now? Who dares to make a report against anyone that has police connection? Where is the MIC? Aren't they supposed to look after their own kind? We should not keep quiet and let this incident slip into oblivion. We should demand for an explanation. Have the police become animals as they are flouting the laws at the whims and fancies.  Come on, you lawyers and NGOs, dont just talk and threaten. If there is a law against such act, use it. Are we to be subjected to such atrocities without any recourse?
