Muhyddin is Malay first and Malaysian second.

So its finally out. 1 Malaysia is nothing but empty words as the DPM Muhyddin doesn't even believe in it. He has openly admitted that he is first a Malay and then a Malaysian. He is more worried that the Malays would shun him than be the DPM for ALL Malaysians. Malay is just a race, but Malaysia is a country. If you are Malay first which country do you belong? Then how on earth can you become the DPM of Malaysia ?Anyway can I then also say that I am first a Chinese and then a Malaysian? But no, I am not going to lower myself to his level. Malaysia is my country and I am a Malaysian. Those who cannot say that "I am a Malaysian first" are all traitors and should indeed be sent back to where they came from. Muhyddin, remember your roots are not here, in this country. Moreover, there is no more a country called Malaya. Its Malaysia and we are all Malaysians.

Mahathir- senang lupa

Do you still believe and respect a man who, nine years ago (The Star 2 July 2001 to be exact) said this ,
“The Malays should stop sending memorandum after memorandum to the government asking for aid and other things for themselves. Such an approach is no longer suitable because the time has come for them to stand on their own feet.”
"the government has done so much to elevate the position of the Malays, be it in business or education so that their achievement would be on par with the races, yet these efforts are never enough.

If the Malays could compete on the same level with other races there would no longer be a need for them to restrict themselves to the quota for everything. Must we lower the eligibility standard to the point where even useless students can go to the university just so that we can fill up the 55% bumiputra quota in the local public universities?”
If so, we must remember that some of the students who go to the university in this manner will some day become doctors and engineers. How can we entrust our life to such doctors or what will be the quality of our infrastructures if they are built by such engineers? It would be much easier to tackle the problem affecting the Malays if they are proven stupid because all that is required would be to encourage them to study harder.”
He had also boldly asked: “How much longer must the Malays depend on the government and the privileges accorded to them? How much longer must they remain mediocre?”
All these were said in Mahathir's speech at the ‘Reaffirming the Idealism of Undergraduates in the New Millennium’ symposium at Dewan Perdanasiswa, Universiti Malaya, in 2001 (the 30th anniversary of the NEP).

And now this same Mahathir turns around in full circle, (he is indeed living by his own maxim that Melayu senang lupa) openly and unashamedly joins Perkasa in insisting and almost begging that the Malays remain a begging and handicapped community! Who indeed is insulting the Malays?

Thank you Martin Jalleh for the info.

Ibrahim Ali spewed Sh*t on Al Jazreera

You got to see this to see what kind of lunatic and calibre of ministers we have in Malaysia. I am glad that Al Jazeera has put him up to show to the whole world the kind of person Ibrahim Ali is. He said the Malays has 'forgive' (a minster with such English). Whether he is showing his lunacy or anger, he couldn't even utter what he wanted to say. Sheeeesh, its a total disgrace, and this one comes after the chap called Mydin.(remember him when Al Jazzerah interviewed him).
But let me get back to this Ali. Talking of sh*t should really be addressed to him. What has his kind of Malays forgiven the non-Malays? You should be happy that we are only asking for equal rights. The Ibrahim kind of Malays should ask  for forgiveness from the general Malay population for having robbed them off the shares of the country's wealth. Ask Ibrahim Ali Where is the missing RM52 billion bumi shares high-lighted by YB Lim Guan Eng?
Anyway thank you Ibrahim, thank you Perkasa, we will remember your accusations and lunacy at the Ulu Selangor by-election.

Voter Registration

A Voter Registration exercise will be held simultaneously at 3 locations on 3rd. (Saturday) and 4th. (Sunday) April, 2010 from 10.00 am to 10.00 pm. The 3 locations are

1. Subang Parade
2. E-Curve Mutiara Damansara
3. Amcorp Mall, Petaling Jaya.
This registration exercise is being carried out by a youth organisation called GEL, Growing Emerging Leaders. They are doing this because they realise that as youths they need to take up their responsibilities to make this nation something they (and we all) should be proud of. Afterall they are going to be our future leaders
Their campaign to register 2 million voters has been highlighted, supported and given their blessings by bloggers Zorro, Niamah, People's Parliament and Malaysia Today. Tan Sri Dr. Ramon Navaratnam, President of TI has expressed his whole-hearted support and has helped to open up doors to make it easier for GEL to carry out its work.
Therefore with this effort , it is hoped that the 4 million of non-registered voters will register themselves. Most of these 4 million adopt the "do also same , dont do also same" type of attitude. But the tsunami of the 12 th. General election has proved that this is not so. We can make the difference. Anyway since you do not come to the mountain, the mountain has now come to you. So dont miss this opportunity.
As for those who have registered, please make it a point to pass this message around. Better still, bring along an unregistered voter (a relative, a friend) to the locations.

Get Anwar no matter what.

By hook or by crook, these umno goons are determined to get Anwar. They may be losing in their battle to charge him for sodomy in view of the international pressure. So they are looking at other ways, just in case they lose the sodomy charge.
First there is this Ali guy who wants the government to set up a royal commission on Anwar when there are people in this country whose complicity in murder, corruption, scandals and various racist actions, are not investigated at all. Anwar thinks it is a joke and most Malaysians agree.
And now Hishamuddin is looking into "something under the sedition act that we can use to take action against him." He doesn't even know whether there is this something to charge Anwar with.
Ever since the beginning of the current Parliament sitting, there has been nothing but washing dirty linen in public, accusations and denials, all on a personel nature. There are 222 MPs and instead of looking into the repealing of archaic laws like the ISA and how to improve the rakyat's standard of living, they are involved in mudslinging. Bloody waste of our money for putting these clowns in the august house to clown around.

The Third Force is Everywhere.

The IGP's revelation of a third force has now confirmed that the 3rd. force is everywhere, not only in the police but in the MACC, the judiciary, in the mass media and even in the NGOs like the Perkasa. For instance, why is perkasa and Utusan Melayu allowed to make all kinds of racist remarks and get away with it, while China Press was asked to show cause and its editor suspended for making a trivial remark about the IGP's resignation? The remark was neither seditious nor a threat to national security and yet the Home Minister made a mountain of it.  Obviously there is a third force that guarantees Utusan's and Perkasa's immunity.
The Home Minister claimed that that no party is allowed to influence decisions of the police force and that he had not received any complaints from the IGP himself.
But if he is the third force, how can the IGP complain?
Then there is another theory. The IGP might be referring to RPK who has claimed that certain police officers are reporting to him. So RPK might be the third force.
The IGP really has to wake up from his slumber and mix with the rakyat to know what is going on. With all the clamour for his resignation and objections to his tenure extension, only now he realises that there are some quarters that want to rush him into leaving his position as the IGP. Wake up man! Where have you been?

Ali's tantrums

Can you believe this guy, Ibrahim Ali. Read his statements made in parliament.
He urged the government to form a royal commission of inquiry to investigate various wrongdoings allegedly committed by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
He must have a very distorted views of wrong doings. So all his racists statements are not wrongdoings.
He "told Parliament the opposition leader’s conduct in handling his Sodomy II case has embarrassed the country’s judiciary system."
It is the judiciary that is embarrassing the nation, not Anwar, and he and the judges
must be aliens from another planet to believe that sodomy can be carried out without penetration. The whole world knows about this travesty of justice and is making us a laughing stock.
“I am of the opinion that the conduct of the opposition leader within and outside the country has jeopardised the national security,”
This is good. After all his racist rhetorics , he now accuses others of endangering national security. He reminds of a monkey throwing tantrums for not getting what it wants. And he forgets that he is actually describing himself.

The Insecurity of the umnos borders on Paranoia.

After Perkasa, another organisation has been set up to champion the interest of the Malays, to be more specific, the umno Malays. This time it is made up of former Umno Elected Representatives . My, my, so much fear, so much insecurity. With the protection accorded in the consitution with regards to special privileges, etc, it is really amazing how these umno Malays still live in fear of losing their special position. The police, the judiciary and the macc are already controlled by the Umno government, as evidenced by the many lopsided actions and persecutions carried out by these institutions. So the fear and insecurity is really unfounded.
Pas is a Malay party. PKR members are mostly Malays. But do they go round forming organisations to champion the cause of the Malays? Or is it that only the umno Malays know they are not getting what they rightly deserve? Most probably not getting enough.
Therefore there must be another reason behind this suddden compulsion to form these race-based organisations.
The umnos know that the Malays are already split, politically. There is the umno Malays, the Pas Malays and the PKR Malays. It is to create an artificial fear among the Malays, especially the rural Malays that the Malays are in danger of losing their power. How can the Malay lose its power? If PKR or Pas come into power, they are still Malays. So it is the umno Malay power that these people are afraid of losing. With 65% of the population being Malays, with Malays holding all top civil service posts, police , judiciary, army and even sitting as Chairmen of public listed companies, how can the Malays lose their power? Are you going to leave some for the other Malaysians? Read Zaid's rebut on Perkasa's claim here

Ibrahim Ali, Are these Misperceptions?

The Malay Consultative Council (MPM) claims that Malays and Bumiputras, who form the majority group in the country, are being marginalised. Its paranoid chairman added that contrary to preconceived notions, Malays have not “received much anyway, these are all misperceptions.”
Dear Mr. Paranoid, read the following and then say whether the datas given are all misconceptions.
Below is the result of extreme discriminations and marginalization by the BN govt for too many years.
(1) Out of all the 5 major banks in Malaysia, only one bank is own by multi-racial, the rest are controlled by Malays.
(2) 99% of Petronas (the only one petroleum company) directors are Malays, and the former Prime Minister work as Consultant in Petronas.
(3) 3% of Petronas employees are Chinese.
(4) 99% of 2000 Petronas gasoline stations are owned by Malays.
(5) 100% all contractors working under Petronas projects must be "bumi's status" (Malay).
(6) 0% of non-Malays staffs are legally required in Malay's companies. But there must be 30% Malays staffs in Chinese companies and shareholder. Which this mean non-Malays own company needs to give their property to Malays. And non-Malays citizen can't really own their business.
(7) 2% is the percentage of non-Malays government servants in Putrajaya (Malaysia main government office). But Malays make up 98%.
(8) 7% is the percentage of Chinese government servants in the whole government (in 2004), drop from 30% in 1960. Only 2 position for non-Malays in political status.
(9) 100% all business licenses are controlled by Malay government e.g. Taxi permits, Approved permits, etc. and all the license are given to government officer families.
(10) 100 big companies set up, owned and managed by Chinese Malaysians were taken over by government, and later managed by Malays since 1970's e.g. UTC, UMBC, MISC, etc. This company now is the sole company.
(11) At least 10 Chinese owned bus companies (throughout Malaysia, throughout 40 years) had to be sold to MARA or other Malay transport companies due to rejection by Malay authority to Chinese application for bus routes and rejection for their application for new buses.
(12) 10 all public universities vice chancellors are Malays. And politics in universities are held by Malays. If non-Malays want to form a politics parties, there is no way to get approved. (25) 5% - the government universities lecturers of non-Malay origins had been reduced from about 70% in 1965 to only 5% in 2004 with the reason Malaysia Education Ministry give full support for Malays only.
(13) 3 millions Indonesians had migrated into Malaysia and became malaysian citizens with bumi's status.
(14) 5% - 15% discount for a Malay to buy a house, regardless whether the Malay is rich or poor
(15) 50 road names (at least) had been change from Chinese names to other names.
(16) 1 Dewan Gan Boon Leong (in Malacca) was altered to other name ( e.g.Dewan Serbaguna or sort) when it was being officially used for a few days. Government tries to shun Chinese names. This racism happened in around year 2000 or sort.
(17) 0 temples/churches were built for each housing estate. But every housing estate MUST got at least one mosque/surau built.
(18) 3000 mosques/surau were built in all housing estates throughout Malaysia since 1970 with full government support. No temples, no churches are built in housing estates that supported by government.
 (19) 0 of the government TV stations (RTM1, RTM2, and TV3) have directors of non-Malays origin.
(20) 12% is what ASB/ASN (Malays Own banks) got per annum while banks fixed deposit is only about 3.5% per annum.
And many more. So what's left for the others?

Toyo's mischievous implications .

At a recent ceramah (read full report here) of the Kota Raja Umno division, Khir, the former MB of Selangor, took the opportunity to jab PR, emphasising how the welfare of the people, especially Malays in the state, was not being cared for.

“Look at what’s happening in Selangor. You have elected representatives like Ng Sue Lim who is alleged to have been drunk when he knocked a university student .. .what has happened to the student’s welfare? No one knows.
“At the same time, when Teoh Beng Hock dies, his family gets RM50,000 ... this is what they mean by equality, their so-called struggle,”

A Toyo will always remain a toyol, a  person who is always out to steal and cause mischief. Everytime he opens his mouth, its venom that is being spewed out. With every opportunity available, he raises racial issues. It is people like him, a pendatang from Indonesia, the Kutty people and the mamaks that are trying to prove that they are more Malays than the Malay themselves. Actually there are very few of such people left, as most educated Malaysians are fed-up with such talk. After 50 years, we are still at it. But as long as there are hidden hands supporting them, the screaming and yelling will continue, and in the end, the prediction of Raja Petra (read here) will come true.
Meanwhile we are still waiting with unabated breath the outcome of the MACC's investigation over his mansion and disneyland trip.

What National flag is this?

While taking a cruise down the Malacca river I spied this flag and other like it which dotted the banks of the river in the Kampong Morten area.
I am wondering whether it is a desecration of our Malaysian Flag. Is there such a thing as four flags made into one. After all the hype over namwee's Negara-Ku, which is also a desecration of our national anthem, I am surprised that no question and condemnation have been raised by the authorities concerned. How am I to answer a foreign tourist if  the question is being asked as to what nation the flag belongs to? Can we simply do whatever we like to our Jalur Gemilang?

Success of Penang PR - Envy of umnos

I was in Penang for 4 days for a meeting and to see the sights. Yes the traffic jam is still giving everyone a head-ache. But according to a relative who is a local, the bus transport system run by Rapid, has improved tremendously. To verify his claim, I watched the regularity of the buses prying the Pulau Tikus area, and was impressed that would-be passengers need not have to wait long for their buses. Moreover I was also told that the bus drivers are more friendly and ever willing to give the right information on the correct bus to take. All bus routes end at the Jetty, so I was told, and from here one can even take a free ride on the Heritage bus to visit the heritage sites.
Among its other achiements, Penang is the first state or federal government in Malaysia to gain praise from Transparency International.
Penang is the first state to hold public open tenders of government projects and procurement contracts and also conducting it through the internet(e-tender).
But Pakatan Rakyat Penang’s greatest achievement to Malaysia and greatest threat to BN’s stranglehold on power is to prove that the right policies can make Malays compete and succeed against the best in the world.
It is most probably because of all these successes and achievments that had caused the bn/umnos and people like Ibrahim Ali to go green in envy. This envy and jealousy have manifested in their intense obsession to create as much disharmony as they could to unsettle the peaceful situation. One recent example is the trivial action of Gerakan to make a report to the MACC on PR's award of RM100 to all registered senior citizens of the state. Come on, this is something positive being done and yet the BN is complaining. But on the other hand we should be thankful to these goons for exploiting trivialities as this is exposing to the people their childishness and at the same time helping the PR to enhance its power .

Al-Islam Apolgises but AG stands condemned for Over-ruling the Law

So the Al-Islam magazine and their two reporters have finally apologized to the catholics and the christian community for desecrating the holy communion rituals. It doesn't hurt, does it? but it goes a long way to mend the fences and restore the relationship. We all accept that to err is human and sometimes a simple apology is all it takes to soften the heart of the offended. And we Christians have been taught by our great Teacher to forgive . Half of our present day trouble would have been solved if only people learn how to say sorry and apologise.
However is this going to be a sign of better understanding and tolerance for the future? I really dont think so. The concept of ketuanan and the DNA of arrogance are hard to get rid of. The formation of Perkasa and its ideology is another negative factor. And with the ridiculous excuses given by the AG for not charging the offenders, he has practically made it an open season for others to do the same. Think cow-head and church burning. Are the culprits still walking about freely? Instead of enforcing the law, the AG has shamefully abused his power to make arbitrary decision not to charge and prosecute. Now if I commit a crime, do I rely on the law to take its course or on the whims and fancy of the AG?

Time to Unite and work together

Dear leaders of today,
It is time to unite. I am a 23 year old Malaysian and I lead a team of dreamers who are working hard to make this country a better place. We are not trying to start a revolution nor are we trying to disrupt the peace. We are merely trying to put back that true sense of peace and unity which we lost when we left primary school. We want to tell the youth of our nation that indeed there is still hope for our nation, that we are not alone. We want all to know that there is indeed a longing for POSITIVE action brewing within all of us in the midst of today’s issues whether we speak of it or not. Perhaps we have not acted on our troubled conscience because we have long thought we have lost the power to make a difference. If that is so, then you are not alone. That is because I am the same; I too have lost that belief that ‘one can make a difference’. However I believe when 2 or 3 are gathered, incredible things can happen. Therefore, I am willing to try and will leave this in your hands, so that I and more like me can be proven wrong. What we are going to do is give you a matchstick each. How you use it is up to you, but I believe none of you are fools, so please start that fire. The more that joins in, the bigger it will be. So this is what’s happening; we have taken up the challenge to register 1,000,000 voters by the end of 2010. Even though we do have a SUPERB plan, that’s right, its 6 ZEROS! Impossible? I think so, unless everyone rises up and helps out. Only then can we reach that INSANELY EPIC target. For your information, we are not in this for personal glory, nor are we part of a business gimmick, and definitely not controlled by political parties. Anyways, if we wanted glory and money I think we wouldn’t have set ourselves up for EPIC failure like that. Have I got your interest? If you are inspired and want to be part of this, scroll down to the ‘how to’. If you are thinking that there is no hope and our efforts will only be futile in the end, I hope that you will see at the end of 2010 that you are indeed the minority and majority of us actually still have hope. If you are still unsure as most of you are, scroll down to the ‘how to’ and join us to look and see if this will actually work. Trust me, it’s going to be an exciting and entertaining ride whether we hit our target or not.

Don’t be shy.

Beware - It's the AG who calls the shots

So it has now come to a state where the application  of the law is to be decided by the AG, and not even by a judge. Say whatever you like Mr. AG, but the perception is that you decide who to charge and not the law. And your decision was because of pressure from certain quarters. So what about the domestic and international pressure applied on you to drop Anuar's sodomy charge? Yes, yes, we know, you are in control and there's nothing others can do, right?
The two Al-Islam journalists have been left off the hook and the reasons given by you even make by grandchildren query whether there is a law at all.  Look Mr. AG, it doesn't matter whether they know what they were doing, whether anybody noticed, blah blah blah. The crux of the matter is they had sacrileged the most holy rituals of the Christians. You may think that it is alright, but it is not for us. The muslims made a big issue on the use of the word 'Allah', but you want us to ignore the insult done to our God. How do you justify this? Is it because we are a small community that you can ignore us? Be that as it may, but the day of reckoning shall come. My God will not be mocked and those who did have suffered terrible consequences. Read my previous blog on this.
The Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur, Tan Sri Murphy Pakiam, had said that the Catholic Church would not pursue legal action against Al-Islam magazine and its reporters if it was offered a public apology. Don't you think that we Christians are more magnanimous than anyone of you? Just a simple apology which will also act as a deterent lesson to others who would want to contemplate such devious act in future. Without any action,  the AG is indeed sending a wrong signal. Come on, the Star was warned and they apologised. So why not give the same kind of warning to Al-Islam?

Umno must be Paranoid!

It is really difficult to fathom the mentality of some of these umno people. The latest, and under the paranoid Ibrahim Ali,  80 Malay groups have come together to form the Malay Consultative Council (MPM) to push the government to maintain affirmative action for the country’s dominant race. Their main aim is to protect the malays and Islam,  but from what and from whom? Already 65% of the population are  malays and these 65% controls the army, police, the judiciary and the government. Switch on the TV and one will see malay corporate figures signing MOUs or lunching  campaigns. The MCA  MIC and Gerakan have already been trampered on until there is not a squeak left. The malays are already a dominant race in the country, and that's where it has to stop. You can be a dominant race but don't you dare dominate others. What have the non-malays done to cause fear to the dominant race? In fact the non-malays should be more fearful because of the twisted and selective
enforcement of the law. The refusal to charge the 2 Al-Islam journalists for sacrileging the christian holy ritual by the AG is a classic example of the dominating race doing whatever it likes. No reason given, just NFA. So can we form a non-malay consultative council to protect the rights of the non-malays? Sudah lah! On one hand we talk about 1 Malaysia but on the other, we start forming racial groups, thereby creating greater polarization and civil unrest.
In reality, it is not the malays that are fearful. "Most Malays are not that racist, they will see through this ruse,” said Mujahid, head of PAS's national unity committee. He further advised that “Malaysians must stay clear-headed. Don’t be confused or be frightened by all the threats of violent racial reaction from these hot-heads."
It is only the malays in umno that fear the loss of the power grip. The umno malays fear the malays from PAS and PKR and are using the non-malays as punching bags. Come on, Ibrahim Ali, admit it, and the PM and umno is happily prodding you on.
And as for protecting Islam, what have the non-malays done to cause you to fear? Probably it is the articles on Islam and muslims written by RPK that cause you to to be shaken in your own faith.
So don't go about pointing fingers at the non-malays for your inadequacy, your loss of support from your own kind and your paranoia.
