PAS is offering up to RM 250 for a ANYONE of the 1,557 voters in Galas reportedly working outstation to come back and vote, regardless of their political leanings. No condition.
In response to this the EC deputy Chairman Datuk Wan Ahmad Wan Omar told reporters that the offer could be interpreted as an offence under Section 10 of Election Offences Act 1954. He further added that the macc and the police could investigate and recommend action if a report was lodged over the matter.
Now compare the above to the following:
"you help me, I help” and "Let’s make a deal. If you deliver me Robert Lau Jr on Sunday, I will sign the cheque on Monday." CONDITION. We all know who uttered those words. And according to Election Commission it was not an issue and passed the buck to Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission to investigate. And we all know the result.
Hey Mr. Wan Omar, which one sounds more of a bribe? But then again, you and the EC is without doubt, under the control of the umnos, and everything must be decided in their favour even if it means ignoring the facts and truth resulting in the loss of your own dignity and intergrity.
