Malacca -Transformed 2

In my previous post on “Malacca-Transformed” dated 15 Sept., I mentioned that the Malacca govt. is in the process of acquiring a replica of the treasure ship of Admiral Zheng He (Cheng Ho). It is now confirmed with the just concluded signing of a memorandum of understanding between FMDI Finance House and Yuen Her Holdings to develop a RM 50mil. 12ha coastal theme park in Klebang in Malacca. A sea-worthy full-size replica of the treasure ship is currently under construction in China and will sail the routes of Zheng He expeditions, which will include a stop over in Malacca to coincide with the opening of the theme park .
