So the AG office has left the 2 Al-Islam journalists who desecrated the holy Christian ritual, off the hook. Anger boils in us. Even our dear Art Harun could not control his temper at the double standard and injustice. Read his blog here. My whole hearted respect for you Art, and we are indeed glad we still have honorable people like you around, to encourage us to carry on.
Nevertheless we Christians are a forgiving lot, and we will put into practice what we have learnt and that is to allow God to judge and punish.
It is written in the Bible (Galatians 6:7):
‘Do not be deceived; God cannot be mocked:
A man reaps what he sows.’
Here are some men and women who mocked God :
John Lennon (Singer):
Some years before, during his interview with an American Magazine, he said:
'Christianity will end, it will disappear.
I do not have to argue about that.. I am certain..
Jesus was ok, but his subjects were too simple, today we are more famous than Him' (1966)..
Lennon, after saying that the Beatles were more famous than Jesus Christ, was shot six times.
Tancredo Neves (President of Brazil ):
During the Presidential campaign, he said if he got 500,000 votes from his party, not even God would remove him from Presidency.
Sure he got the votes, but he got sick a day before being made President, then he died.
Cazuza (Bi-sexual Brazilian composer, singer and poet):
During A show in Canecio ( Rio de Janeiro ), while smoking his cigarette, he puffed out some smoke into the air and said:
'God, that's for you.'
He died at the age of 32 of LUNG CANCER in a horrible manner.
The man who built the Titanic
After the construction of Titanic, a reporter asked him how safe the Titanic would be..
With an ironic tone he said: 'Not even God can sink it'
The result: I think you all know what happened to the Titanic
Marilyn Monroe (Actress)
She was visited by Billy Graham during a presentation of a show.
He said the Spirit of God had sent him to preach to her. After hearing what the Preacher had to say, she said: 'I don't need your Jesus'
A week later, she was found dead in her apartment
Bon Scott (Singer)
The ex-vocalist of the AC/DC. On one of his 1979 songs he sang:
'Don't stop me; I'm going down all the way, down the highway to hell'.
On the 19th of February 1980, Bon Scott was found dead, he had been choked by his own vomit.
Campinas (IN 2005)
The mother accompanied her to the car and was so worried about the drunkenness of her friends and she said to the daughter holding her hand, who was already seated in the car:
'My Daughter, Go With God And May He Protect You..'
She responded: 'Only If He (God) Travels In The Trunk, Cause Inside Here......It's Already Full '
Hours later, news came by that they had been involved in a fatal accident, everyone had died, the car could not be recognized what type of car it had been, but surprisingly, the trunk was intact.
The police said there was no way the trunk could have remained intact. To their surprise, inside the trunk was a crate of eggs, none was broken.
Christine Hewitt (Jamaican Journalist and entertainer) said the Bible (Word of God) was the worst book ever written.
In June 2006 she was found burnt beyond recognition in her motor vehicle.
It is the quality of our work which will please God and not the quantity. -Mahatma Gandhi-

Al-Islam Journalists left off the hook for sacrileging holy rituals
How can this be happening? Discreetly maybe, but this happened openly and blatantly and the AG office has decided to drop the charge. Tell me PM, tell me DPM, tell me you ministers and especially those from the MCA, MIC and Gerakan, How can this be? Two journalists had blatantly violated the holy rituals of the Christians and they were not even reprimanded. The AG office didn't even provide a reason for the NFA. Where is the law, where is the justice? The police took great pains to seek out the church-burning pepetrators. But here we already know who these two people are and yet nothing is done. Don't church-burning and church sacrileging carry the same severity? I dont even want to waste my breath and space here to mention the 1 something slogan. The PM went to Batu caves to appease the Indians. Then he went to Petaling Street to get the Chinese support. And ALL fell for the same trick - syok sendiri for a little while. In the meantime his umno warlords are allowed to do and say whatever they like. Sheessh! Dont you have any dignity left? A few sweet words and you go soft. Dont you feel shame? Dont you know how to be angry? at the double standard? at the selective persecution? at the hypocrisy? Lets learn from Ghandi how to fight this injustice. I have stopped going to the Mamak shop and will now stop subscribing to the Star. Alone I may not even create a ripple but togther we can create a tsunami and be taken seriously.

Voting is your Responsibility
I have just returned from helping a group of volunteers who are going round on a kind of "road show" to encourage elligible votes to register as voters. Let me emphasize right from the beginning that these volunteers are not aligned to any political party and they will only set up their work base only when they are invited by those who are interested to have them. They have no name and they provide this service on the quiet. In this instance, they were invited by the St. Francis Xavier Church at Petaling Jaya to help register their parishioners and those who attend the services. It was a very successful 2-day effort as the total of new registered voters came to about 350, just from one congregation alone.
According to statistics, three million Malaysians who are registered voters did not bother to vote and another four to five million did not register as voters. That means, while eight million Malaysians voted, another seven to eight million did not. The seven million who did not vote is indeed an alarming figure. In the past, the perception is nothing much could be done because the government controlled everything. But a paradigm shift in this perception is taking shape, especialy with the advent of the internet. No more do we need to swallow hook, line and sinker the one-sided rubbish dished out by the government-own media. Let us stop wailing and howling about the corruption, discrimination and unfairness. Let us use our vote to right all the wrongs. SO REGISTER TO VOTE. YOU CAN MALE THE DIFFERENCE.

Embarrassing explanation by our Ministers
It looks like our ministers are trying to outdo each other to see who can embarrass our country the most. Lets take a look.
From the DPM on the caning of the women. "While the caning meted out by the civil court can cause hurt and sometimes even death, canning according to syriah law is light."
How light is light? According to the women who were caned " even 100 strokes of the syariah cane will not be equivalent to one stroke of civil caning." Home Minister said that "all three women did not suffer any cuts or bruises." So what is the purpose? Will they relent under these circumstances? No pain and no shame, but just a few strokes with a piece of something which does not even cause hurt or bruise. What lesson have they learnt? Yes we must explain to the world our laws, but how to explain this kind of punishment which makes a mockery of the punishment.
Next we have the Foreign Minister, Anifah Aman who said that " Malaysia judiciary operates according to the legal standards of any other fully developed country, requiring that every person here receives a fair trial." Is he for real? or has he just awakened from a deep slumber? A fair trial indeed. Anyway, we are not a fully developed country yet, so we are not operating fully according to the legal standards. Hence the hanky-panky business by the extraordinary judges. Wonder whether they have any conscience to prick them?
And from our Defence Minister, Ahmad Zahid, on the inability of the brand new submarine to go under -"thankfully, quite minor and of no cost to us because the submarine is still under warranty" and compared the defect of a billion dollar submarine with the defect of a toyota car.
And finally back to our DPM again. Always quick on the draw, he was on spot praising Pas president Hadi Awang for his supposedly criticism of the Australian MPs. But Hadi Awang, has claimed that he has been misquoted by Bernama. So where do you put your face now, DPM? Be a true leader, check your facts first before you embarrass the country further.

Perak Retaken, now Penang?
The pattern is obvious. Now that the umnos have retaken Perak, they are now turning their attention to Penang. Selangor would have been next in line, but the death of Teoh Beng Hock put a spanner into their scheme and they had to abandon the attack until the crisis simmers down. Moreover the macc investigation on the ex-MB, Toyo, is still a thorn to be removed first. But for now it is Penang, and Ibrahim Ali, under Perkasa, is leading the charge. Even though he is not umno, the umnos are happily prodding him along as it all fits into their plans.
How is that there are only corruption and racist issues in the Pakatan held states? Are the other states held by umnos free from all the accusation that are hurled at the Pakatan states? Why aren't the opposition in the umno-held states making any reports?
And our DPM. is ever ready to add fuel to the fire. The moment there is a problem in any of the Pakatan states, he will be there to condemn. Where is the magnanimity that is usually found in a true leader? Shouldn't he try to diffuse the already highly-charged situation instead? But I guess he doesn't know what a true leader of a nation is like, as he only aspires to be a pemimpin kampong.

This is My Home, I Care & I Want to Make it Better
Such powerful and meaningful presentation should be seen by all MALAYSIANS who love this country. It is sincerely hoped that it strikes a nerve in your heart to move you to go and register as a voter, and if you have, get someone whom you know who have not registered, to register right away. Use our right to vote as that is the only way to make it better for us and for our children. Thank you sincerely Harris and Embrose for your unrelenting pursuit of a better tomorrow for all of us.

The Kartika dilemma solved.
The Home Minister proudly announced that three muslim women had been caned for engaging in illicit sex. And this is the first in Malaysian history. What an achievement. I feel we are going on a reverse gear, back to the stone age. And here we have sky scrapers, twin towers, longest bridge, etc, etc., but we still practice out-dated customs. And we are supposed to be a developed nation by 2020. With this act, the perception of Malaysia has gone negative by several notches and by this, the world will know what kind of people are living in this land., and by this, we will probably lose out in foreign investment, tourist arrival and what not. And all because the umno government wants to prove that they are more muslim than others and that world opinion doesn't matter to them.
Hishammuddin's reasoning and excuse is so shallow and laughable. Just because there has been "too much hype" over Karttika's sentence, the 3 women had thus to be caned first to show that women had been caned before Kartika. If the 3 women had not been caught and caned, you would have been in a dilemma, wont you? So now, you and the govt., is off the hook, so to say.

Who is doing the Kangaroo Business?
Umno protesting in front of the Australian High Commission in Kuala Lumpur.
Take a closer look at the guy holding the placard above his head. Then read the words on his placard.
"ENOUGH KANGAROO BUSINESS" This only proves my point that these umno protesters are unaware of the situation in the country, especially in the Judiciary. Haven't we been having Kangaroo courts all along and with it, Kangaroo judgements. If this guy had known, he wouldn't be carrying it, I am sure. Yes, enough Kangaroo business, turn the placard round and show it to the umno judges and umnonites. What a joke !

Ibrahim Ali, Accept the Challenge
Ibrahim Ali, the challenge has been issued. Although the challenge was issued to umno, you are more than welcome to accept the challenge and umno will gratefully oblige, no doubt. Instead of shouting like a lunatic and condemning LGE, be a man and accept the challenge to a debate. Instead of showing off to your small group of supporters (Perkasa) , let us see you talk to the whole country on TV, or are you just a jagur kampong? Maybe you can't debate as you can only shout racist remarks.
You labelled LGE as anti-Malay, but he was jailed for a speaking up for a malay girl. Have you been jailed for speaking up for a non-malay, or done anything that is non racist? You founded Perkasa specifically to look after malay interest. That in itself is already racist. The remarks you made are racist and meant to incite. Its a wonder how the Home minister and the police have not hauled you up. But here again, I am being stupid to expect any action at all. The picture (above) showing how pally you are with umno only proves my point. So you can go on with your racial rhetorics, as the umnos will just fan you on. Anyway, the hope and trust we have in the police, the home ministry and even the judiciary have all vapourised and its going to be mission impossible to reverse this perception. As RPK mentioned, we are in the midst of a war, a war of perception, and there will be many battles of perception, culminating in the GE 13.

The Infamous Five
The Infamous Five judges that have declared Zambry the Mentri Besar of Perak. Let us not forget their faces, not as honorable judges but for the dispute they have brought to the judiciary system of Malaysia. They were given the chance to redeem themselves but have failed to do so. The fact that all five had voted unanimously in favour of Zambry showed that they had agreed to sink together. Enough have been said by some honorable judges and lawyers of how these five manipulated the laws to suit the powers that they serve. How are they going to answer the question of the separation of powers? The day willl come when they will have to answer for all their misinterpretation of the law. Meanwhile lets see how they face their children and grandchildren and how they are going to impart their values to those who look up to them for guidance.

RPK's son slashed wrist and swallowed razor blade.
Yesterday, Raja Petra's son, Raja Azman Raja Petra (pic) was admiitted to the Sungei Buluh hospital on the suspicion that he had swallowed or made to swallow razor blades. The lawyers made attempts to see him and to confirm what really happened.
Today, Wednesday 10th. February 2010, Raja Petra (RPK) posted the following on his MT website"
"My lawyer went to meet my son in the Sungai Buloh Hospital today and it is confirmed that my son slashed his wrist and swallowed a razor blade. My son broke down and cried while telling my lawyer that he can no longer stand the physical and mental torture that he is being subjected to and that he wants ‘out’. And the only way out to him is to end his life. This is my response (here) to the Malaysian authorities who are using my son to punish me."
Is this really happening? and in this modern time? Where have we descended into? So the police is telling RPK, since we cannot get you, we will deal with your son. Only low-down, worst than scum of the earth people would ever resort to such tactics. How did Raja Azman get the razor blade in the first place? The police must answer this.
We are so sorry, Pete and Merina. We can only pray that God will intervene to bring justice. Apart from that we will make sure that the whole world knows about this, through the facebooks and the blogs. We will also rememeber the scums involved and make them pay for their crimes when the changes are implemented.

Highway Ang Pows
"HIGHWAY ANG POW" that's the front page headline of the Star paper on Tuesday, 9th. February. Without reading the details, one would wonder whether the ang pow is for the police. I don't mean bribery here. If the police catch the traffic offenders, like speeding, the summons imposed is a kind of ang pow for the police, right? So for those who are travelling to balik kampong during this CNY festival, decide to whom you want to give your hard earned ang pows. So the discount or toll free drive will mean nothing if you have to give back more than what the toll concessionaire gives you.
3 days after the start of Operation Sikap, 35 lives have been snatched away and the figure is bound to climb higher. Its mind boggling how people still haven't learnt their lessons. Its shear arrogance and stupidity to think that the accidents they read about will not happen to them. The problem may not be you, but a trailer parked along the emergency lane, a cow crossing the road or a hole in the road, may determine whether you arrive home safely or not, or whether you even arrive at all.

Untold story about Guan Eng
I would like to direct this blog to people like Tan Tee Beng, Zahrain, Wee Choo Keong and others who had poured scorn and criticism on YB Lim Guan Eng. I read this article sometime ago and it humbled me to tears that a young man, son, husband and father had to be humiliated to such an extent, all because he dared to stand up in defence of a MALAY girl. You people are not even half the man he is, so zip up .
"I had written 2 paragraphs about my visit to Guan Eng when he was serving his sentence in Kajang Prison. I made that visit in October 1998 together with Chong Siew Chiang.I had merely written that during that visit in Kajang Prison, Chong Siew Chiang and I had a heart to heart talk with Guan Eng for 1 hr. 45 minutes in respect of his legal case which had cost him his freedom, political office, professional career, pension and much else besides. I had said that it was a sad but eventful meeting. I was economical in my words.
There is one aspect of my visit to Guan Eng that day that I did not write about. Actually, I could not write about it, because it was so, so humiliating and sad. I did not write about it because Kit Siang did not want me to see it. But I did see what Kit Siang desperately tried to let me not see it.
Kit Siang was supposed to drive us to Kajang Prison. He was busy that morning and our departure from our HQ was delayed a little. Kit Siang was speeding like nobody’s business. When we arrived at the Prison, we “checked” in at the office. It was at this time that I saw the prisoners walking out in their prison uniform for row calls at the wardens’ office. They had to squat in rows, every time and every day that they did so, and the prison wardens would call their numbers.
As I walked in, I saw the familiar face of a prisoner with an unfamiliar crew hair cut. He was squatting at the front row. Both his hands were placed over the back of his head …
We had a split second eye contact but I pretended not to see … It was very dissimilar to those other cases when I was required to visit the prison as a lawyer.
Half an hour later, we met. Kit Siang did not join us. I would not know where he had gone to. Guan Eng started by saying that he wanted me to send a message to Party members and supporters in Sarawak not to despair over his fate. “Tell them that they can break my back, but they cannot break my soul.”
As we discussed his case, I knew that he was not well at all. He was pale and complained of body pain. He also complained that he had not consumed sufficient salt, the food being tasteless. We were worried that his fragile body won’t take him through. We were concerned about his safety in there. He assured us that the inmates there had treated him alright, that they all knew that he was wronged.
It was unbelievable that even when he was at the pit of his life, he had his heart for the Party members, in our case, the comrades in Sarawak.
We told him our view about the legal case. It was clear to us that he was fated to sit behind bars for another 10 months. He knew as much. Royal pardon was out of question.
As Kit Siang drove us away from the Kajang Prison, he made sure that we had a taste of the signature food of Kajang town – satay. At the coffee shop, Kit Siang greeted the town folks who wished him well and to remain strong, but in his leaner body frame, I saw the pains that he had endured. Political adversaries had long accused him of cronyism and nepotism, and the building of a Lim dynasty. The fate of his son losing everything after standing up for a Malay girl who was raped by a Chief Minister, and having to languish in jail for 18 months, showed the cruelty and venom of those accusations.
Siew Chiang was habouring many questions inside his chest and it took a long time for him to break his silence. He asked Kit Siang why he was speeding desperately this morning. Kit Siang then told us. He wanted to make it to the Prison before the row call. If we had made it in time, our meeting could begin, and Guan Eng would not have to take part in the row call. During the row calls, the prisoner had to squat in a row, hands behind the head … As the father, Kit Siang did not want us to see his son in that moment of ultimate humiliation.
Siew Chiang told Kit Siang that he did not see Guan Eng in the row. I said I did not also. Then Kit Siang told us where Guan Eng was squatted. He sped, because he had not wanted us to see the ultimate humiliation to his son.
But I had sinned with my eyes. The signature satay was tasteless to me amidst cries of injustice that innocent people had to suffer.
On our way home, there was hardly any communication between us. Our hearts were heavier than lead. In my mind, I saw the flashes of a prisoner, hands behind his head, his face so familiar, squatting in the row like other inmates. I repeatedly asked myself whether Guan Eng deserved this. Why should I see that moment in his life when his father had wanted me not to? But that was what it was, for Guan Eng had to endure that humiliation for 365 days.
It was after midnight in Kuching not long after Guan Eng’s release. We had finished our party function and all were hungry for supper. We found a little place in order to replenish our tummies. There was no food left except plain porridge. I ordered some, teasing Guan Eng that the porridge must be better than what he was used to in Kajang. Guan Eng cursed me for reminding him of what he had gone through.
That day about 2 weeks ago, when I stood for photograph with YAB Lim Guan Eng behind his Chief Minister’s desk in Penang, I recalled what I had seen of this man. From a humiliated prisoner, he had been vindicated by the powers in the people’s hands.
Much that YAB Lim had never responded to anything I said about his less than glamorous times behind bars, he will always remember the ultimate humiliation that a person had gone through. He will know the true meaning of justice.
In less than 10 years, God has shown YAB Lim Guan Eng the way. May YAB Lim now shower mercy and love to the great people of Penang.
My thanks to Wong Ho Len who wrote the above piece.

The Burning of LGE's Effigy
Ibrahim Ali, remember the following statement made by you?
"We have Lim Kit Siang and Lim Guan Eng stepping on the pictures of the two Perak Malay lawmakers. If they want to step on the pictures of Chinese photos, it’s up to them but never do it to the Malays,”
So what the hell are you doing burning the effigy of Lim Guan Eng.? If you want to burn the effigy of a malay, go ahead, but dont you do it to a Chinese. If you want to be a dominant race, go ahead, BUT DONT DOMINATE OTHERS. Be a man of principle. Do not unto others what you would not want others to do unto you. Or are you just too racist to the core that you dont bother? Dont hide behind perkasa to further your own agenda.
It was also reported that the Police and FRU officers were on the scene to manage the crowd, but were unsuccessful in preventing the protest group from continuing their march towards Komtar. Unsucceesful? How come they are always successful when the PR protestors are involved? Where are the cannons and tear gas?

Tan Tee Beng - What's your real motive?
Tan Tee Beng,(pic) who do you think you are for criticizing YB Lim Guan Eng and demanding his resignation as Chief Minister of Penang? Do you ever read the blogs and the alternate media? One said you can’t even be half the man of Guan Eng. Another asked you how an ordinary soldier could ask his commanding officer to resign? What kind of mentality do you possess? I have yet to see a comment that is in support of your condemnation, with the obvious exception from bn/umno. As Guan Eng said, “it is very clear that they (that includes Tee Beng) are attacking Pakatan Rakyat more than Barisan National and that while they maybe in PR, their hearts are no longer with the coalition.” It is hard for a leopard to change its spots and this fits you to the T. You had been too long in Gerakan and the hatred for the Opposition has been so ingrained in you that its simply impossible to ‘korek’ it out. Obviously you are not a team player and you do not subscribe to PR’s ideology. Do the honourable thing. If you have no more respect for your leader, why are you still hanging on?– RESIGN.

Kris-waving syndrome
First it was Najib, then it was Hishamuddin. Now, not to be left out, Mahathir gets into the same act. Claiming himself to be a Malay, he is really bent on getting into the limelight, and while at it, creating as much dissention as possible.
But here again, who is Mahathir? What or rather where was his roots? In case he claims amnesia, he is the son of an Indian who migrated from Kerala. Does he think by waving the Keris and fighting for Malay rights, he can become more Malay. Incidentally based on new DNA scientific knowledge, there’s no such thing as a Malay race. Read the full text from Haris Ibrahim here. If you want to be a dominant race, go ahead, but don't dominate others.
