I really dont get it. Who is in charge of running the affairs of Selangor? Without a doubt it is the PKR coalition. But it seems the umno is running the show through the proxy of the police, the macc and the judiciary. There had been numerous cases of selective enforcement of the same law. The umno/bn organised protests were allowed to go on with little or no intervention by the police, but the moment the PKR holds a protest, even a cermah, the police are right on the spot to stop the event. The stoppage of Anwar's latest cermah is a typical case in point.
Is the Selangor state governement totally parallised to do anything? Granted that the police has to do its duties, but can't the Selangor government demand that they carry out their duties fairly? It is so open and apparent that the police are unfair and unjust. Has the State Assemby no power to haul up the police and demand an explanation? What about the Parlaiment? Can't the MPs, especially of the Opposition demand an explanation from the Home Ministry with regard to the discriminatory treatment? If these state of affairs persists, then the PKR will eventually lose all the states it controls. Heed Raja Petra's warning.
