The Attack on Churches continues.

Let’s imagine a hypothetical situation.

A gives a gun to B who is known to be an emotional and hot-tempered person. B’s emotion is aroused in a given situation and shoots C. A says he is not responsible and should not be blamed.

Now let’s look at a real life scenario.
The PM said that he cannot prevent people from protesting over the Allah issue. Everyone knows (I don’t know why he doesn’t) that the issue is a very sensitive one and that when emotion runs high, violence is bound to break out. Yet he allows the emotional and hot-tempered people to demonstrate, resulting in the torching of 7 churches (todate) and threat and intimidation of a few individuals. Then the PM said Umno must not be blamed. Well if Umno should not be blamed then he himself must accept the blame. But he is Umno chief and together with the Home Minister’s permission (which he later denied), the responsibility points to nowhere else except Umno. It is the same situation as the hypothetical one.

Even the police had contributed to the resultant violence. Where were the tear gas and water canons to disperse the demonstrators. The IGP warned about assembling without permit but the assembly had taken place, but where was the action? Compared to the shouting and yelling of the demonstrators in the mosque compound , we the peaceful and quiet candlelight vigilers were chased, harassed and arrested for holding candles in the confined of the PJ Civic centre.
The attack continued with 2 more churches (one in Taiping and one in  Melaka) being attacked. So far no arrest has been made. The police are not only clueless but have even asked churches to maintain their own security. What do you want us to do? Fight them and kill or be killed? Or you want us to sweet talk to these gangsters and terrorists.
