What else is new? Coroner Azmil Muntapa Abas claimed that Nazri was only "expressing a personal view on the matter" regarding his accusation that Thai pathogist, Dr. Pornthip, was a liar. Imagine, instead of Nazri saying that it was his own personel opinion, the judge had taken upon himself to defend and speak on his (Nazri's) behalf. What clearer evidence do you need of a judge that has taken side. No wonder, Nazri as well as other umno leaders have arrogantly spoken and acted out of line as they know the law is theirs to play with. Another example of partiality of our Judges is the case of the Kinabatangan MP, Bung Mohktar. Judge Wan Mahyuddin Wan Muhammad, in passing the sentence, said that as an MP, he should set a good example to the people.
adding that the court needed to pass a severe penalty for society's sake. What severe penalty is he talking about? RM1000 is peanuts to Bung. And moreover we know that whatever is passed by one court will be over-ruled by another. Dung (oops Bung) will continue to serve as an MP with no shame whatsoever. This is Malaysia.
