Najid -Allow Bersih Rally and you can still Win

I have just finished watching the historical Chinese Epic movie "The Three Kingdoms", and I would strongly recommend that the UMNO people, especially the Prime Minister, Najib, the Home Minister, and the police, to watch the movie to learn the strategies of wars. Its not only about wars, but about human emotions, such as pride, arrogance, greed and power that brought about the downfall of certain Generals and thereby the defeats of certain battles. The most impressive aspect of the story is about the battle of wits among the Councilors/Advisors of the various kingdoms. The Councilor that studied and understand the human minds and emotions, not only won the conflict, but also the hearts and minds of the people they conquered.
The Umnos should do well to learn this strategy. For instance, instead of banning the Bersih rally, which will go on anyway, why not allow it to go on, with proper supervision of the route taken and crowd control. The umno leaders would have no doubt witness this being done in certain countries,whereby the police not only supervise the walks, but also protect the walkers/demonstrators. This will not only show that the democratic rights of the citizens are being upheld, but will also show that the government has nothing to hide or fear.
Even if there is something to hide or fear, learn from the councilors of the "Three Kingdoms". Let the rally go on to show your magnanimity whereby you may win back some votes. Beside the world will also look kindly on you. But when everything is over, you can still go back to your dirty trick like "Lu tolong gua, gua tolong lu". Besides, umno will still be in control of the Election Commission and can still manipulate all they want. But arrogance and kiasu syndrome will only lead to disaster.
Obviously, the PM has no good councilors to give sound advice. Obviously APCO has not studied the Art of War by Sun Tzu.
But then again, umno Malays have always been known to be arrogant, power crazy and refusing to learn from anyone, especially the pendatang Chinese, because they consider themselves the superior race, and no other race can teach them anything. Yeah right, that's how the conceited Generals and   Councilors in the movie, lost their battle, war and Kingdom.
