Prayer Rally in Kuching

prayer rally
About 3000 Sarawkian Christians packed the Christian Accumenical Worship Centre in Kuching for a prayer rally on religious freedom. The Rally, the first of its kind was  organised by the Sarawak Ministers Fellowship (SMF), which is an alliance of Sarawak churches including the Kuching Ministers Fellowship, Miri Pastors Fellowship, Sibu Pastors Fellowship, Bintulu Pastors Fellowship and Gempuru Besai Raban Jaku Iban Malaysia. The rally was led by leaders of all the churches under the SMF umbrella and held in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Mandarin. Two-thirds of the leaders are Dayaks and there was a strong native presence in the crowd
The normally conservative Sarawak Christians expressed unhappiness over the government's handling of the Bible issue and decided that enough is enough. Their anger and frustration is reflected in their response that “The Christians of Sarawak are rising up for the first time to confront an issue which has deeply affected them. We have been very quiet all this while but enough is enough and we want to send this message to those in the corridors of power."
Let us not let our brothers and sisters in East Malaysia stand alone. Let us rise up and be united in our prayers for freedom to worship our God . We fear no man but our God.

Shalom ! Today a Pastor said the words "what the hell". He has the gifts of healing. Satan can come as a wolf in sheepskin. Are there Pastors like that ? Yes. People believe in the supernatural works of God. They danced and they sing. But do they believe in God's words ? Is it right for a Pastor to say "what the hell" ? Is it right for anyone to shout at him and tell him to go to hell for saying that ? If christians cannot even be real christians, they should just go to hell. Forget about praying even for the nation.
