Perception, My Dear Najib!

When Prime Minister Najib accused Teoh Beng Hock's family of being used by the Opposition to delay the work of the RCI, he is way way off the mark. It can only be concluded that he is now so desperate and gone cuckoo that he does not know what is taking about. Looking at the facts, an ordinary man would be able to tell you who is using the delaying tactics. You have promised the Teoh family that you would leave no stone unturned to get to the truth, and yet you took 18 months to set up the RCI. Then you place people who have proven to be bias in the RCI. How can you get at the truth. As Sherlock Holmes said ,"Elementary, my dear Watson". In this case its "PERCEPTION, my dear Najib". If you really want to get to the truth then start on a completely new slate. Get new neutral professionals (and there are many around) and also agree to a few that have been suggested by the Teoh family. You dont even have the magnanimity to even do that. All you want is to have your own puppets around so that you can control them. You may give all the assurance that they would do their job professionally and would not be bias, but perception, my dear Najib is the ultimate yardstick. Boycotting and withdrawing from the RCI because of the uncompromising stand, is not a delaying tactic.
It is the only honourable thing to do if you dont believe in the fairness of the RCI. The NFA on the Lingam case is still fresh in the minds of everyone of us, and I am sure the Teohs and their lawyers are also wary of this.
So please dont go throwing your baseless accusations around. Ask yourself whether you have given the public the perception that you are really, really leaving no stone unturned. You think its fun carrying your dead son's photograph around for the last 18 months?  As long as the culprits and murderers are not apprehended,, one of these days, we may see Junior Teoh Er Jia going into court carrying his father's portrait. I would do that if I were the mother.
