Wan Ahmad of the Election Commission claims that the Electoral roll of the EC is clean and the EC is acting fair and just.
Well, how do you interpret PM's "Gua tolong lu, Lu tolong gua" ?
And " if the BN (Barisan Nasional) candidate won, there will be sufficient funds channeled to the constituency." (the Ulu Selangor By-election)
And the Commission (EC) chairperson Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof refused to take a stand on whether dishing out 'goodies' in election campaigns flouts election law
Furthermore, how do you explain that the address where the mother of PKR Vice President, Azmin stays, suddenly has 10 new names?
And with the latest by blogger, Perisiki Rakyat, who revealed that 60 “dubious” names have been registered under an address in Permatang Pauh, Penang. According to the blogger, of the 60 voters, 51 are Malays and the rest Indians.
And how can you unilaterally say that there is no necessity to remove the names of those who are dead from the electoral roll?
All these are indications that the EC is bias and the electoral roll is tainted. And all Bersih wants is to clean up the dirt and for the EC to take a stand on corruption and bribery. What is so wrong with that? Sensible people knows that there is nothing wrong with that. But umno and the present government know that the moment the 8 demands of Bersih are accepted and implemented, then that's the end of umno.
All these excuses of business interruption, rioting and property
damage are mere hogwash. With or without the Bersih Rally, the police have already decided to set up road blocks into the city. So with the setting up of road blocks , isn't the police are themselves actually causing the loss of business. And with the use of water canons and tear gas, isn't the police contributing to the damage of property? And the business community are blaming Bersih for loss of revenue. On the other hand if the rally were allowed to proceed with proper police supervision, the business community will benefit the most. Business will double or even tripled, as the walkers will need to buy caps, umbrellas, water, food, etc. etc. Come on, put on your thinking caps.
