Voter Registration hampered by uncooperative AMCORP Mall Management.

The Voting registration carried out by memberss of EPIC at Amcorp Mall started off well. However after about half an hour into the drive, the management began to hassle the team of young boys and girls, some of whom were from the local universities. They were not allowed to go round to canvas, they were not allowed to put up banners, but were to strictly confine themselves to a out-of-the-way corner on the second floor. They were not even allowed to stand in strategic locations to guide the people to their corner. This registration drive is not a business venture. They did not compete with the other vendors to sell anything. It is strictly a community service, rendered voluntarily and sacrificially by these young boys and girls who have more sense of responsibilties than the matured adults of Amcorp Mall. And above all, they are not aligned to any polical party. It really defied all logic why the management flatly and arrogantly disallowed the Epic team to carry out their task effectively. They even issued a last warning to the team to follow their rules or they would not allow the team to operate the next day. I wonder whether it is unpatriotic to put obstacles or even discourage the rakyat from registering as voters?
