What is this bickering over the words "warlord" and "Godfather" between the DAP chief Karpal Singh and the Penang Deputy chief, Ramasamy? Oooops! did I say 'chief'. Far from being 'chiefs', they are behaving more like 'cheapskate' laughing stocks. The umnos and its BN counterparts must be laughing all the way to the toilets to rid themselves of their diarrhoea attacks. Sheeeesh! what kind of leaders are these people? and they want to take over Putrajaya. Karpal, where is your magnanimity as a leader? True "the party would not be around without the sacrifices of such leaders, and leaders of today won't be leaders without the veterans ." Do you understand the saying that the moment you say you are humble, you are no more humble? So it is the same with your statement. The moment you brag about your sacrifices, you are no longer a true leader. And how can you insult a Deputy CM by asking "who is this Ramasamy?"
And Ramasamy, where is your respect for your leaders, especially when they are your elders? Didn't you parents teach you to respect your elders? Your action so far has been due to your pride, and pride has been the cause of the downfall of many leaders. After trading all the insults, you want to extend a handshake in full view of the public.
Please lah don't be a hypocrite.
Incidentally, why are the words "warlord" and "Godfather" given such bad connotations? I thought "godfather' is an honorable person
I was asked to be the Godfather to the son of a close friend. It is an honour and I feel proud of it, as the friend has put his trust and faith in me to keep an eye on his son.
As for 'warlord', there are good warlords and bad warlords, depending on what cause you are fighting for. So it really boils down to who is using the words and to whom the words are directed at. And this depends on the relationship between the two parties. Obviously there is bad blood between Karpal and Ramasamy, hence they take offence at the words. And to bicker over such an issue reflects the quality of leaders that are going to take over Putrajaya. Any difference with the present lot?
