Time to show that the rakyat is the Boss

"It appears crystal clear that all of the rakyat's wish is beyond BN's comprehension. Despite so much feedback in the main stream media (subtle writing) and new media (brazen and bold statements). What is left as a last resort is for all Malaysians to mogok. No street protest. No public gatherings. No speeches or ceramas. Just stay at home. One full day. No one rides, drives, or goes to work. A sort of silent boycott to demand for peace, progress and harmony. SHUTDOWN. If Malaysians can do this, they are sure to have their wish list answered overnight. If Mahatma Gandhi could have done it given the vastness of the illiterate in those non-technology bygone eras, why can't we today?"

The above comment was made by J.D. Lovrenclear and it further confirms that the BN government is not bothered with all the feedbacks they have received through the various media. The rakyat is really flogging a dead horse.  As if that is not enough, it is turning round to show us its middle finger. The above suggestion of a "mogok" deserves some serious consideration. Lets not just talk but act. We are always saying that the government works for the rakyat, but what are we doing to effect this.
So as a start, lets pass this "mogok" idea around and see the reaction and feedbacks.

This is How We Christians Worship.

To prevent further misinterpretation and misunderstanding, and also as a means of educating  those who are less intelligent in the understanding how Christians worship, I would like to explain the different ways and methods practised by the Christians.
The most common method is to kneel down, put our hands together, bow our heads and pray. This can be done individually or in groups. In groups we may join hands, or place our hands on the shoulders or heads of the person or persons we are praying for. Sometimes a priest may end the prayer by making the sign of the cross with his hands.
This was probably what happened at the controversial pastor meeting held in Penang and was misinterpreted by ignorant people to mean conspiracy.
Those who are more charismatic would raise their hands in adoration and thanksgiving while singing, praying and even dancing. It is immaterial whether you raise one hand or both hands, or whether it is the left hand or right hand. You move as the Holy Spirit directs.
And as the Holy Spirit moves, some may even end up speaking in tongues (continued uttering of words and sounds). To an uneducated, this may seem eerie as if the person is drunk and gone mad. But rest assured, this is normal, and a sign that the the person speaking in tongue has reached a level whereby the Holy Spirit is interceding on his behalf. Sometime at the end of the session, the person may collapse and become unconscious.
So please don't ever interprete this as a ritual of conspiracy to evoke our God to rise up in arms.
Then we have the less popular ministry known as the Holy Laughter ministry which began in upstate New York, under the ministry of a South African missionary named Rodney Howard-Brown. This worship results in the manifestations of laughter, drunkenness, and running round in the church. However this form of worship is rarely seen or heard of in Malaysia.
But to the less informed, the worshipers are not drunk or gone mad, and are not performing any rituals to do evil like taking over a country. In Christian language, the Holy Spirit has taken over control and they are in another level of the spiritual realm.
We reiterate that we Christians in Malaysia have not an iota of intention to take over Putrajaya or conspire to make a Christian the Prime Minister. Let's be realistic. We are only 10% of the population. Those guys who hatched this conspiracy theory and the ministers who even entertain such a theory must have their heads examined. Who controls the government? the army? the police? the air force? the judiciary and even the royalty?
We just want to left alone to practise what we have been allowed to practise since even before Independence, and according to what is guaranteed in the constitution. And finally, as our God has instructed us, we forgive those who have wrongly accused us of wrong doings and evil intention. We will leave it to our God to do the rest.

MCA, Gerakan, Direct your Rebuke at the source of Trouble and NOT AT THE VICTIMS

A noticeable trend has emerged in the MCA and Gerakan in the way they try to remain relevant in today's political setting. Instead of taking the umno and its cahoots, such as Utusan and Perkasa to task, for creating all the contoversial issues, they have instead aim their venoms at the Opposition parties, the Chinese and now the Christians. Take for instance the current Christian issue. What the DAP and the Christians are doing are merely defending a lie that has been indisciminately thrown at them, without an iota of proof whatsoever. And instead of lambasting the umno bloggers and Utusan Malaysia, the Kedah Gerakan youth chief, Tan Keng Liang turned around and  criticised Lim Guan Eng for prolonging and inflaming the issue. Tan claimed that "the meeting between Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak with Christian leaders was clearly meant to resolve issues relating to an allegation highlighted in the newspaper Utusan and to protect harmony among all religion in our country." The issue was first and foremost NOT created by the Christian leaders and why were they hassled into a meeting and made to pledge to accept Islam as an official religion and respect the Federal Constitution? Aren't those two issues a forgone conclusion? An apology for Utusan's haste by the PM would have been in order, but there was none of that. Tan Keng Liang should first tick off Utusan for raisng the issue without proof and call for the arrest of the 2 bloggers. But I guess it is easier to bully someone else rather than big brother.
Next we have Dr. Mah Hang Soon of the MCA accusing PAS of distorting the MCA President's remarks on the status of Islam. He said, quote "With regards to the unique multi-racial and multi-religious conditions in our country, we at MCA, as well as Malaysians everywhere do respect the status of Islam as the official religion of Malaysia, and we will not make any racial or religious insults which may undermine our national harmony and stability."
Very well said. Then why dont you direct this to the 2 bloggers, Utusan Malaysia, Hishamuddin and the police who had called in the Pastors for questioning? You should tell them " we at MCA, as well as Malaysians everywhere do respect the status of Islam as the official religion of Malaysia, and we will not make any racial or religious insults which may undermine our national harmony and stability."
Again, as I have said, its easier to bully the Opposition and the Christians rather than big brother.
So come on MCA and Gerakan. Tell your big brother to stop hassling the Christains, unless you really believe that 10% of the population is capable of taking over Putrajaya. On top of that we have the constitution and finally we have PAS to content with. With all these obstacles and safeguards, its amazing how our Home Minister and all the other purportedly highly intelligent ministers can ever come to the conclusion that the Christians are conspiring to make Malaysia a Christian Country.

The Christian Conspiracy?

The greatest joke of the year is the accusation by the umno bloggers that the Christians are conspiring to make Christian the official religion of the country and make a Christian the Prime Minister. This joke is futher carried by Utusan Malaysia and then pursued by Pembela. These guys. including Pembela president Dr Yusri Mohamad,  must have shit in their brains to come up with such an accusation.  The Christians are a minority group (1 out of 10 is a Christian), you need 2/3 majority to change the constitution and you need the Agong's approval, and these guys with shitty brains go round saying that the Christians are planning to take over Putrajaya and change this country into a Christian country. And to accuse a group of pastors gathering round to pray together as conspiring, is a classic display of ignorance of the way the Christians pray. Sometime we even lay our hands on the head or shoulders of someone to pray for healing. So are you going to accuse us of designating the person as the next Prime Minister?
So without proper knowledge of how the Christians pray, without concrete proof like audio and video recordings of the events that took place in the Penang hotel, whatever accusation made by the umno bloggers , Utusan Malaysia and Pembela, is tantamout to sedition and the police and the home minister should, without hesitation, investigate. I wouldn't even expect the police to punish the malicious liars, as this would never happen. Asking for an apology from the shitty people is also out of the question. Suffice that the Christians be cleared of any conspiracy.
As a parting reminder, the Allah and the Bible controversy were started by the umno government, and the Christians are only asking for what is granted in the constitution-freedom to worship, nothing more, nothing less. Ask yourself,. since our Independence, was there any controversy at all about the above 2 issues, until the home minister Syed Hamid Albar  banned its usage by the Catholic church?

Is there any Hope in Our Police Force?

Is there no more creditabilty left in the PDRM? We have now reached a stage where every comment  made about the PDRM is not only negative but filled with vitriol. One needs only to go through the comments made in Malaysian Insider or Malaysian Chronicles and other online media to experience the fear and anxiety when one is called up by the police. Advice like "be careful", declare your self healthy and not suicidal, etc have been given to those who are being called up for interrogation or who would want to make police reports, especially if the reports are against their own kind. Unless the allegation is captured on CCTV,  like the assault of the 23 year-old youth in Sabah by the director of prisons, there is little hope that the police will act on the report.
The PDRM must blame themselves for allowing the situation to come to such a state. Even though there is concrete proof with self confession, the police are still not taking action. Typical is the case of the sex video by the Datuk T. It is a clear violation of the law, and yet the Trio are still free men. Then we have the police and the AG playing footbal, passing the reports to and fro, under the excuse that they want the cases to be air-tight. But in the end, we all know what will happen. How many high profile cases have been successfully conluded and the culprits punished?
Selective enforcement of the law is another area which the police seem to forget. Water cannon and arrests are common for demonstrators from the Opposition parties, but only warnings and worst, a tap on the wrists for the umno demonstrators.
So you tell me, IGP, Deputy IGB and Home Minister, how do you expect us to respect the PDRM, with all these selective persecution, prosecution and enforcement being practised openly and blatantly?
I was born in 1940 and I have lived through all the six Prime Ministers and have seen and experienced the vast changes, and it grieves me to have to spend the twilight years of my life to see my beloved country being destroyed by power crazy people and religious extremists.
