Defend Sharizat at ALL COST - my, my this is Frightening!!!

"AT ALL COST" my my. No wonder they get away with murder, corruption and all sorts of crime. Dont tell me there isn't an iota of sanity or intergrity left in the whole of umno. All you people in umno; the lawers, the Phds, the lawyers, the doctors, the engineers , the datuks and Tan Sris and the ministers, are you all blind or what? Are we the only people outside umno, and the Opposition, that can see the crime being committed by Shahrizat? Blatant misuse of power, denial of the highest level and misuse  of funds- what else do you need to convict a person? OK if you are not convinced. Then let's ask the bank that gives out the loan. Can a loan for project A be used for project B? Let me know if there is such a bank.
And Shahrizat had the gall to demand the resignation of Wan Azizah. Hey woman, Kak Wan did not deny she had nothing to do with the husband. She stood by her husband thru 2 trumped-up sodomy charges. Sheeeesh! you are not worthy to lick the sandals of Kak Wan. I hope those who stood behind Shahrizat when she spewed her venom, can sleep well, and oh, hope you can also tell your children the umno meaning of "defend at all cost".

Another APCO to raise Najib's tattered image?

Free Malaysia Todayt (FMT) reported that a survey conducted by the IIUM concluded that the PM's popularity has been rising steadily since 2009 while those in the opposition camp are losing their charm. Is this a joke or what? or has umno employed another agency (after Apco) to do another image uplift before the 13GE? Is  FMT being used to hood-winked the public? I hope not or else FMT will be removed from my favourite bar. Anyway who are the 1500 respondents? Probably all from umno, mca and mic.
The mca claimed that the Malaysians overseas are out of touch with local news and are fed with distorted and false news by the online news portals. Hence they are not entitled to vote.
Prof Syed Arabi Idid of IIUM’s Communications Studies Department who led the survey, claimed that he has been conducting studies on the popularity of polticians since 1989 and that people are "finding Najib more acceptable as their new leader."
Where has this guy been? Talking about out-of-touch with local scenerio. No need to look for 1500 repondents. Hey Prof., just read the online news portal such as Malaysia Chronicles, Malaysia Insider or Malaysiakini and you will get first hand info. on the popular rating of the PM. and the Opposition politicians. Just check the number of derogatory remarks made against Najib and the praises heaped on LGE, Tok Guru and Datuk Nizar, just to name a few. What do you read then? The Star? NST? Utusan? And according to mca, these papers disseminate reliable news. Shheeeeeesh!! give a break!

Nincompoop Leaders

What's wrong with these nincompoop leaders of our country. Starting from the head, that is our PM, they seem to be void of any intelligence. The right hand doesn't seem to know what the left hand is doing, or putting it in the common quoted statement, "cakap tak serupa bikin".
Take the PM's recent statement at the APEC meeting in Hawaii. He declared that allowing the voices of dissent is a sign of matured democracy. But he forgot to mention what happened when voices of dissent were actually voiced. Water cannon and tear gas were used on these voices of dissent. Even candle-light vigil by seniors, mothers and children were harrassed and arrested. There must be a devil in him to be able to face an international audience to make a stand of matured democracy and moderation, and then make an about turn the moment he arrives in his own country to do just the opposite.
Next we have the DPM. Its an embarrassment to be seen with him, especially in international events. Much has been said about the cow head he is and the flip-flopping policies he practises. A typical example of not knowing what he said is his recent statement advising his departmental staff to have enough rest and to spend quality time with their families. But hold on, wait a minute. Didn't his ministry just launch a project requiring teachers to work nine hours per day? So where got time to rest and where got time to spend with families? See the quality of leader, no, the DPM we have.
Next we have J.Khairy and the Nor Omar guy trying to defend the purchase of a condo with loan specifically for the cow project. For the Nor guy, probably it is excusable, but for the Oxford-trained K.J., his resume may be questionable. Probably he had just spent a year or 2 at Oxford working as an assistant to one of the lecturers.
Finally we have the game of passing the buck. The MACC has now passed the buck to the police to investigate the purchase of a condo with the loan given to NFC. The police will investigate and then will pass the buck to the A.G. stating that its now up to the AG to decide to take action or not. And like the Saiful love affair with a member of  the prosecuting team, the AG will say no evidence or insufficient evidence to prosecute.
So to retain the present government, we the rakyat must be prepared to accept whatever that is dished out by the ruling party. If they say black is white and white is black, we just have to accept it. Hey man, as the saying goes 'the ball is at your feet now'

Christian Bashing continues

"A planned gathering of a million Muslims here to rally against Christians “challenging the sovereignty of Islam” this Saturday. "
Is this a joke? or is someone making a mountain out of a molehill. The Islam religion is protected under the Consitution, there is law against proselytising, and there are  only 10%  and most of them in Sabah and Sarawak. And the so-called "faithfuls" are afraid of the Christians. Come on, where is your faith? But here again this may not be the issue.
Religion is again being used to rally the Malays thus diverting the attention of the rakyat from the more serious issues of corruption and bankruptcy. And as always, the Christians are being bullied and used as the whipping boys.  
Really, I cannot see how 10% of Christians can rock or threaten their faith. Even Khalid Samad said that "the Christianisation threat is actually a “very weak” one as “the Christian faith is not very appealing to Muslims” and that "the organisers of the gathering should focus on “real threats” to the faith like “racism, secularism and materialism” and find solutions to these challenges.
The intended gathering on Sat.22 Oct is the follow up of the 'raid' conducted by the Selangor Islamic Affairs Department (Jais), at the Damansara Utama Methodist Church premises following a tip-off that proselytisation efforts were underway by a welfare group. And with the Selangor's sultan's decree of "yes there is evidence of proselytisation" and "no there is not enough evidence to convict", the fearful faithfuls have capitalised on this to further bully the Christians, even though the Sultan had also decreed that no one would be charged and the matter should be put to rest.

The following statements by Catholic Bishop Paul Tan Chee Ing, sums up how most of us Christians feel about the whole issue. 
"If there is not enough evidence, there ought to be no imputation of wrongdoing – it’s as simple as that!” and
"I would have much preferred no statement at all to one that is neither here nor there,”
And finally, I would strongly advocate that all Christians remember this last statement
“It’s a good thing the general election is imminent, because there seems to be no let-up in this ugly campaign of innuendo and insinuation against Christians, so that the ballot box becomes our only recourse from persecution by vile slander.”

God does not need humans to protect or defend Him

There are people in this world who hold on to the belief that the Almighty God needs our human protection. That is not only a joke but show the kind of faith they have. How can we, as mere mortal man protect the omnipotent, omniscience God. We should not be putting the cart before the horse. God protects us, sinful men, and not the other way round. If that is the case, then we might as well be gods. I really feel sorry for those muslims who are bent on protecting their faith with their human ways, instead of allowing their god to do it in his own way. Why can't people realise that faith comes from the heart. It is well to remember that you can lead a horse to the water, but you cannot force it to drink the water
So those people who demand the prosecution of people guity of proselytising are in fact telling their gods what to do. Imagine that. What will they tell their god to do next?

PM - Pensioners are in tears and wont let go his hands

Now that the euphoria of the durian runtuh of the 2012 budget has abated, let us now get back down to earth and face reality. Undoubtedly this is a buy election budget, as evidenced by the speed the PM took to the streets (in this case the rural areas) to gauge the reaction to his durian runtuh. Peopel say that self praise is no praise. However our spoilt child PM doesn't seem to learn from this, as he goes round praising himself by saying that wherever he went people, especially the elderly "had welcomed him with warm handshakes, with some “not even wanting to let go”. In Ijok, he said, pensioners whom he had sat next to during breakfast had “tears in their eyes” when they thanked him for remembering them in the Budget 2012. My, my, such emotions, and when these pensioners convert the 2% out of their meager pension into cash, their tears in their eyes will be tears of grief. As someone mentioned the 2% increase for those whose pensions falls below RM 600 would probably get him another banana leaf rice. A better offer would be to stagger or tier the annual increase rate, such as giving those below RM1000 , an increase of 6%, above RM1000- 4% and those above RM2000, 2% 
Finally, if the PM is receiving such warm reception over his budget offer wherever he  goes, then he should immediately dissolve parliament and call for a fresh mandate. As the saying goes, strike while the iron is hot. 

Najib - A Man's Word is His Bond

A phrase attributed to Miguel de Cervantes is: “An honest man’s word is as good as his bond.” 
But sad to say our Prime Minister, Najib,  fails miserably to live up to such honourable quality. He is neither honest, especially to his people, and his words were just empty gongs designed to hood-wink his own  rakyat.
It is also said that reputation is what men see, but character is what God sees. But here again, Najib has again failed miserably. Men sees no reputation in him and as for character, well I'll let God decide.
What reputation do you see in a man  when his flip-flopping policies have become his trademark. His flip-flop antics are not mere accusations but were widely reported in the BN-owned media.   
His latest was"I did not say we want to abolish quotas, but I said we cannot be too reliant on them. Bumiputra entrepreneurs must be independent, willing to work hard to compete with others so we are better respected.  I absolutely did not say that quotas will be abolished," 
However this was in contrast to what he said earlier, quote " "We want to do away with quotas, but we will support bumiputera entrepreneurs to grow. If we give quotas, they will rest on their laurels and not gain expertise to manage their businesses,"
A lot of folks nowadays wouldn't know what was meant by "his bond", but one would expect, a Prime Minister who is also a well-known leader to know the impact of he utters.
President Obama once said "The way to make government responsible is to hold it accountable and the way to hold it accountable is to make it transparent so that the American people can know exactly what decisions are being made, how they are being made and whether their interests are being well-served." Substitute American for Malaysian. 
I would further add that Najib spend sometime, nay, lots of time, to meditate on " a man's word is his bond"
And in the meantime, I'll take whatever goodies to be offered by Najib with a ton of salt.
